New Store Spotlight: Designer Sample Sales at TheSavvy.com

A new designer online sample sale site has come to my attention called TheSavvy.com. I'm not sure if the company is called "Savvy & Co.," "The Savvy" or simply "Savvy" but all that matters is that this New York City-based company can save you money!

Right now, they're having a Danielle Stevens Jewelry sale with prices ranging from $16 to $113 (regularly retailing up to $225). The sale began April 8th at 12:00 PM EST (noon) and continues through April 11th 12:00 AM EST (midnight). Find fresh, thoughtfully designed contemporary jewelry, some made from semi-precious stones and crystals intertwined with gold and silver.

I love the colorful earrings above, which feature acrylic fuchsia gems and baby turquoise stones that hang from gold plated ear wires, on sale for just $19. Other stand-out items include 10K Gold Plate 1.5” Hoop Earrings with Aqua Quartz ($21); 10K Gold Plate Stone Drop Necklace with Love Charms ($21); and 10K Gold Plate Wood and Turquoise Earrings ($16).

Danielle Stevens Jewelry has been featured in UsWeekly, Cosmopolitan, and InStyle, and counts celebs Drew Barrymore, Giuliana Rancic and Abigail Breslin among her fans.

Four Dotted Dresses: Would You Wear One?

Four Dotted Dresses Inspired by Michael Kors Spring 2009 Collection

Michael Kors sent a bevy of models decked out in polka dotted dresses, skirts, coats and even one itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini down the Spring 2009 runway. I love polka dots and I loved Kors' take on this classic print, so I started looking for something similar on a budget and discovered that both Spiegel and Newport-News have very convincing Kors-inpired dresses. I think I could make dress #4 my own and rock it out at a summer wedding with bold red accessories (why not, right?!). Would you wear one?
