The Look for Less: Juicy Couture Flutter Black Ruffle Dress

Juicy Couture at ShopStyle

For a fun and flirty take on the LBD, Juicy Couture serves up a spaghetti strap dress with a skirt full of fluttering ruffles. It can be yours for $498 at Ssense.

If you love the look of the Juicy dress but don't have that kind of cash laying around, Lulu's has you covered: This Legacy One Shoulder Dress in Black by Ark & Co. features a one-shoulder strap (which I think gives it a more distinct look), cascading ruffle skirt and costs just $62.

The Look for Less: Aqua Cinched Waist Ruffle Top

Aqua at ShopStyle

One of my favorite, incredibly addictive fashion blogs called The Look 4 Less recently featured this blouse by Aqua (a relatively affordable clothing label carried by Bloomingdales) as a great budget-alternative to Alice + Olivia's "Bianca" ruffle blouse ($253). This fab Aqua blouse is on sale now for $57.80.

Xhilaration at ShopStyle

J's great find reminded me of another lovely blouse that I had seen at Target. This Xhilaration Cascade Blouse in Hardware Grey is another option to help you get this look on a budget, and it only costs $12.98 at Target.com. Pair it with white jeans and heels for a chic going-out look. DEAL ALERT: $5 Off Purchases of $50 or More at TARGET.com • Enter Code TC6543RT at Checkout • Ends 6/13

Inspired by Alexander McQueen: Feather Print Maxi Dress

Last spring's Alexander McQueen collection included this resplendent chiffon dress featuring a rainbow-colored feather print...

...which is the first thing I thought of when I saw this Feather Print Chiffon Maxi Dress, currently for sale at Forever21.com for $27.80. It's not a copy by any means, but the colors and sweeping floor length skirt conjure up a similar mood. It's also part of the new Love 21 line (misses sizing and more modest cuts), which I have yet to see in person. Unfortunately none of the stores I've been to so far have it in stock so I guess I'll have to order online. Has anyone else tried Love 21 yet?

Off the Rack: Matthew Williamson for H&M

Matthew Williamson for H&M

I finally checked out what was left of the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection at the store on Fifth Avenue at 42nd St in NYC, and in all fairness, there wasn't very much to review. But I think I got an adequate taste of the collection's summery, world-traveler, exotic get-a-way vibe, as well as a sense of the quality (on par with the rest of H&M's "nicer" things) and the prices (steep). The only thing I really wanted was a wildly colored bag but I couldn't fathom spending $95 odd dollars on a canvas duffle from H&M, Matthew Williamson or not. Did anyone scoop up some goodies from this collection? What did you think of it?

Pucci-esque chiffon kaftan. Love the print. No place to wear it.

Ok, I'll admit I felt kinda glamorous when I tried it on...

The Look for Less: Ben Amun Coin Necklace

Singer22 at ShopStyle

Adorn yourself with this glistening Ben Amun gold necklace with discs that resemble the rich remnants of some ancient civilization. It's $198 at Singer22.com

Forever 21 at ShopStyle

Less expensive alternatives to the disc necklace trend are everywhere for those of you who don't want to spend a small fortune. Forever 21's "Moroccan Metal Necklace," for instance, captures a similar feel for just $6.80.
