Off the Rack: Chan Luu Bracelet Look-a-likes at Target

Chan Luu knockoff looks for less at Target

I went to Target today in hopes of finding some Temple St. Clair jewelry—which they didn't have—but I did find some cool Chan Luu inspired bead bracelets (actually there are many designers making these stackable, leather wrap bead bracelets but Chan Luu is probably the most well-known of the bunch at the moment, having recently collaborated with Banana Republic on a limited-edition line). I found an assortment of colors and styles, each for $7.99. My favorite was a dark purple silk-look chord with gold-tone beads. Best part is that the closure features an easy-to-adjust slip knot so you can customize the fit to suit your wrist. Brilliant! Browse Chan Luu bracelets below for reference.

Temple St. Clair for Target

Temple St. Clair for Target Lookbook

The Temple St. Clair for Target lookbook has been released, sorry I'm just posting it now, been crazy busy visiting with friends and family and working during breaks on the go! This collection features 14K gold-plated necklaces, cuffs, rings, and charms inspired by Renaissance Italy. Ethereal blues, blood reds and clear white gemstones showcase the designer's love of color while whimsically wrought settings in gold look modern yet opulent. Pieces are priced from just $30 to $50 and will be available at Target stores and online at Target.com from August 29th through December 28th. I can see myself wearing the Gold Wide-Band Ring in Blue/Green ($30), Gold Necklace With Pear Drop Stones in Yellow ($50) and Gold Charm Bracelet ($40). Also wondering what happened to the heart ring that Lucky Mag previewed a while back. Which pieces in this limited-edition collection catch your eye?

More pics after the jump!

Off the Rack: Poketo for Target

Poketo for Target

Forget the official August 10th launch date: Target's latest limited-edition collab, Poketo for Target, is in stores now. The collection includes wallets, laptop bags, totes, umbrellas, luggage tags and other accessories featuring original artwork priced from $4.99 to $29.99. I snapped a photo of the display and uploaded it to Twitter using my Motorola Backflip. Moments later, @Poketo tweeted me back: "@Poketo @budgetbabe Awesome. Can't wait to see what you buy. Please model them and post them on http://bit.ly/6jP0et Thanks!" Snaps for the social media tie-in! Granted, I didn't buy anything on this trip (nothing shouted "buy me!"), but now we know you can upload your Poketo for Target photos to the Poketo Facebook page to win cool stuff. Click through to see more close-up photos of the collection. Did you buy anything yet?

First Look: Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target

First Look: Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target

Nitro:licious recently shared a sneak peak from the upcoming Tucker for Target by Gaby Basora collection posted by Sarah Parlow, revealing a fleece jumpsuit ($44.99) and signature print dress ($39.99) with reversible quilted vest ($24.99). It's just a tiny morsel from the upcoming collection by the NYC- based designer, which will be available from September 12 through October 17, but it's a delicious morsel at that! I bet Gretchen from Project Runway would approve. Can't wait to see more.

Off the Rack: Leather Jackets, Boyfriend Blazer at Target

Whether you're looking for a new outfit for the weekend or want to get a head start on fall, Target has a few new fashion gems you'll want to check out. First, Mossimo has designed two new faux-leather jackets ($34.99) for fall and they're going fast. The leather-look construction is convincingly real! Other must-have layering pieces include a black boyfriend blazer ($29.99), and soft, lightweight boyfriend cardigans ($14.99) to help you transition your summer clothes into cooler weather. From Merona, I saw lots of classy looking separates and a few adorable dresses, some fully lined which make them perfect for the office. Colorful, coordinating tops and bottoms were placed side by side on the racks, making the task of getting dressed that much easier. I recommend the turquoise embellished top with the chocolate brown/white printed skirt—they go together nicely without being too matchy-matchy which makes the whole look appear more expensive than it actually is. Add sexy heels, modern metal jewelry and you are all set! See anything worthwhile at your Target lately?
