Simply Vera Vera Wang Spring 2012 Lookbook

Here's the Simply Vera Vera Wang Spring 2012 lookbook, highlighting the latest apparel, shoes and accessories from designer Vera Wang's budget-friendly line. A mix of lightweight cardigans, printed tops, cropped pants and day-to-night dresses are rendered in a soft palette of pastels like lilac and yellow mixed with neutrals like black and gray. Embellished peep-toes platforms, wedge sandals and chunky necklaces add interest and drama. I love how you can mix and match everything in this line. Once again, the shoes are my favorite part and once again, the bags are my least favorite. And it looks like Kohl's has no plans to mix up the models to showcase how these clothes will actually look in real life, but I suppose we're used to that. Look for these items as well as Simply Vera lingerie and linens, now in stores and online at www.kohls.com.

The Look for Less: DVF 'Opal' Wedge

Diane Von Furstenberg's "Opal" wedge sandals in black are currently $295 at shopbop.com (you can get them in other colors for less elsewhere).

Target has this look for less (again) with their Mossimo "Philomena" wedge sandal, $29.99. Steve Madden has a look-a-like, too. Click either image to view or purchase.

Kohl's Rock & Republic Fashion Video

Kohl's / Rock & Republic Fashion Video from Mustache on Vimeo.

The Rock & Repubic for Kohl's team released a video providing some details on products now available through the brand's "resurrection" at Kohl's. In it, R&R stylists provide the lowdown on the iconic back pocket, flared jeans and other key items from this year's line, illustrated by a few choice runway shots from the Fashion Week launch (which I covered here).

I was at Kohl's over the weekend and they've completely shifted everything in the women's department to make room for the Rock & Republic line. The clothes look good; unfortunately I brought my camera but left the battery at home so I was only able to snap one decent shot with my iPhone (see below).

Have you checked out Rock & Republic for Kohl's yet? What did you think of it?

My Droid RAZR by Motorola Experience [Sponsored]

I was loaned a Droid RAZR by Motorola to use during Fashion Week and asked to chronicle my experience. As a fashion blogger, I rely on my phone for everything from keeping track of my hectic schedule to tweeting to taking photos and checking emails, so I was super excited to find out that Motorola was a fashion week sponsor. These days, tech gadgets aren't just about function - they're accessories, too, extensions of our personal style - and we want them to look good! The RAZR does just that - it's sleek, stylish and goes with everything. If you're taking outfit photos, you want this phone in the pic, you're not going to hide it in your purse.

Right out of the box, my RAZR was up and running in a matter of minutes. If you're already familiar with using a smartphone, then the RAZR should be super easy to use. Everything is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory - you slide to unlock, and use the icons on the homescreen to make calls, text or take photos. And if you have a Google account (who doesn't?) you can set up and sync email, contacts - all that stuff - in a matter of seconds. Plus, all your info will be backed up for you online so you don't have to worry about losing data if you lose or damage your phone.
