Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti for New York & Company

New York & Company is getting into the designer collaboration game with fashion trendsetter Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti for an exclusive apparel and accessories collaboration. Eva is the founder of luxury retail site VIVRE, has been a mentor on Lifetime's "Project Accessory" and was hailed as one of the "ten most stylish
women in fashion" by Vogue magazine.

Inspired by New York City, Eva's collections for NY&C will include items ranging from statement bracelets, necklaces and handbags to embellished and sophisticated jackets, tops and pants. Eva's signature embellishment for the collaboration is the snake, slithering onto everything from the logo, to bracelet cuffs and closure details on handbags (see the fringe tote above).

Look for this collection at New York & Company stores in October, with additional collections coming in November and December 2012.

BB Exclusive: Save 15 Percent at Mimi's The Look for Less

As the name suggests, Mimi's The Look for Less is an online boutique that offers designer jewelry looks for less, from J.Crew's bubble necklace to David Yurman's cable ring. The quality is nowhere near that of the originals, but the affordable prices mean you can add a little sparkle to your day without a big investment.

Mimi's sent me a few items to try out for myself, including some neon stud earrings and a faux-leather wrap bracelet. I wouldn't have selected these items for myself, but it was a thoughtful gesture, proving Mimi's has courteous customer service. Also, they've extended a coupon code to BB readers in case you're looking for a little bling yourself. The code is BUDGETBABE, and it will be good for 15% off your entire order thru August 3, 2012.

Here, my top picks:

1. Tangerine Double Drop Statement Necklace, $48
2. Orange and Gold Circle Earrings with Diamond Center, $18
3. Cable and Crystal Ring with Black Stone, $32
4. Coral and Gold Enamel Stretch Bracelet, $20
5. Mixed Metals Watch, $25

Joe Fresh Comes to JCPenney

Joe Fresh Comes to JCPenney

Joe Fresh, one of Canada's top fast-fashion brands, will be coming to a JCPenney store near you in April 2013, reports ELLE. As part of it's store-within-a-store concept, JCPenney will roll out Joe Fresh merchandise in nearly 700 stores as well as online at jcp.com. Despite lagging sales and drastic changes in upper management (brand president Michael Francis left after a 9-month stint), it sounds like JCPenney is marching forward with their grand vision of becoming "America's favorite store." And I, for one, remain hopelessly optimistic. I love, love, love Joe Fresh and now I won't have to travel to New York (or Canada) to shop the brand's superstylish duds.
