I might rely on my iPhone to tell time (and the weather, my to-do list, plus a million other things) but nothing can replace a chic watch when it comes to style. Recently, I received the Goldtone Bracelet Watch with Black Glossy Dial from Anne Klein and I'm reminded just how important a watch-as-accessory can be. The delicate bracelet band made of gold-tone links reads like jewelry while the glossy black dial and oversized numerals are cool and sophisticated. I'm obsessed! Last week, I made a long-overdue trip to my nearest JCPenney store to check out the major changes the retail chain has been implementing since announcing their plans to become "America's Favorite Store" back in January. Despite the fact that JCPenney's shares fell to 3-year lows just days ago amid "worries about its future" and lagging sales (via), I still have faith that JCP can turn things around. The changes I'm seeing are definitely for the better - everyday low prices (why people want to play the never-ending sale game is beyond me), fresh new labels, and better store displays that make it easier to shop.

October may be breast cancer awareness month, but Kohl's is inviting customers to join the fight against the disease this holiday with a new collection from the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program. The newest collection, designed by Lauren Conrad, will be available November 1 through February 3 and offers fashionable, on-trend apparel, accessories and gifts which can be found in all 40 Wisconsin Kohl's stores and online at Kohls.com with 100 percent of the net profit donated to support the fight against breast cancer.

Available for only $5 and $10 each, the LC Lauren Conrad collection features a variety of chic items to support women's health, from polka dot pajamas to embellished headbands, slippers, jewelry and home items. I received a few samples from Kohl's to review and it's all so adorable. I'm loving the ceramic coffee mug featuring LC's signature bird print, so cute (and useful). With so many lives affected by breast cancer, my family included, I think this is a great way to give back while giving (or receiving!) something fab this holiday season.
