During the winter, people tend to dress in more subdued colors. When it’s cloudy or raining outside, it’s hard not to reach for those comfy black sweaters every day. That’s where a bright necklace comes in. One colorful piece of jewelry can instantly brighten a dreary day.

Winter's not over yet (sorry to say) but luckily Target has some cool sweaters to keep you cozy. I got to try some on last weekend while my husband chased our little guy around the store, and picked up a soft gray pullover with small gemstone clusters (reminiscent of J.Crew) for a steal. Target hosted a press event in NYC today where it was announced that their next designer collaboration would be with Lilly Pulitzer and would include (drum roll please) plus sizes! I was lame and didn't attend the event due to snow in the forecast and the fact that it's really, really cold out. Had I attended the party, I would have been whisked away to a warm, sunny vacationland where Lilly's bright, colorful prints bloomed on her signature shift dresses, as well as a wide array of other items for the home and beyond.

Lilly for Target launches April 19, just in time for all your spring needs, and will include 250 items. And yes, plus size! #Finally

Judging by the response on Instagram, I'd say you gals are super excited for this one. Me too! Mark your calendars, this one should draw a big crowd.

Back in October, The Budget Babe shared a Look For Less of the Dior Tribal Double Pearl Earrings.
