Dressing Room Review: The New DressBar at Dress Barn

Dressbarn now carries cute dresses by top designers! All under $100, many under $50. Gotta remember this for my next wedding!

Yesterday I headed to Dressbarn to check out a new concept they're calling Dressbar. It's a kind of shop-within-a-shop where the cheap-chic dress retailer can highlight certain frocks, including designer collections created exclusively for Dressbarn: LUXE by Carmen Marc Valvo, MiXT by Heidi Weisel, Lovely by Adrianna Papell, and dbRSVP by the db Fashion Studio. Each of these designers' names are synonymous with dresses, so I was excited to see what they had designed for the budget-savvy Dressbarn shopper. Keep reading to see what I tried on, what worked and what didn't!

If you want your denim to relax this spring, then your style star is on the rise because jeans are trending baggier and slouchier than ever. Invest in a pair by J. Brand for $268 or opt for the look for less with a pricetag under $30. Let's see if you can spot the pricy pair by clicking either link below!

Spot the Real: Emilio Pucci Fringe Vest

Can you guess which fringe vest costs more?

Fringe was all over the spring 2015 runways, including Emilio Pucci where it took on an effortless, bohemian vibe. You can add fringe to your own wardrobe in layers with a vest - Pucci's will set you back $5,600 while the look for less is just $50 (and genuine suede!) Can you guess which vest costs more? Click a link below to guess!

P.S. I love this long black fringe vest ($45) - it's a bit more rock 'n' roll than boho - or this fringed vest ($20) that's more feminine and subtle.

8 Stylish Picks to Set a Spring Table (On A Budget!)

Set a spring table

The season of new beginnings is just around the corner, which means cheery get togethers, brunches, and outdoor dining. If there is ever a time to bring out the brights and patterns, it is now. It especially works when setting the table for casual Sunday brunch. Don’t shy away from mixing bright colors or bold patterns - the more the merrier! It creates a pleasant setting for an afternoon, plus it eliminates the need of stressing over fine china or giving up and opting for paper goods. Invest in key pieces that you can reuse again such as the blush plates and gold flatware, but remember you don’t have to spend a lot to make a stylish statement!
