April showers bring May flowers. And it’s not just nature that’s in bloom! Florals are one of the biggest fashion trends of the season. The easiest way to work the trend into your wardrobe is with accessories.

Lately every time a celebrity or fashion blogger stops me in my tracks, they are inevitably wearing Alice and Olivia, a coveted brand that's always pushing the style envelope while still being totally girly and whimsical. One look at Taylor Swift's daring Alice + Olivia high-waist lace shorts ($295, Nordstrom.com) and you can see what I mean. Her gorgeous graphic black and white bottoms are definitely unique but the lace short trend is something we can all attempt.
