Well you guys, another day, another Target collab! I checked out the Victoria Beckham launch yesterday and probably posted way too many times on my Instagram Stories, so here's a recap plus some feedback I received from all of you. I love hearing everyone's take. Overall, it seems like people were loving the kids' clothing and having trouble with the fit of the women's collection. I went to my store at 2:30 in the afternoon because I woke up too late to go in the morning and then I got to church and I was like, ooooh right it's Palm Sunday (ie., longest mass ever), so I fully expected most items to be sold out but was hoping there'd be some stuff left - and sure enough, there was still plenty to choose from.
We reached 20k followers on Pinterest and I couldn't be happier or more grateful - thank you thank you thank you!
Speaking of Pinterest, I can't wait to make this Easter side dish that combines all my kids' fave veggies in one yummy dish. Yes they eat their veggies...but they also think candy is a food group.
Don't forget, tomorrow's the Victoria Beckham x Target launch! I'm going to try to shop it at my local store if they have it, you can follow me on Instagram Stories for the scoop!
Yesterday I finally got to browse the first installment of Sugarfix by Baublebar jewelry at my local Target. I've already ordered some pieces online (these earrings in two colors), plus I was gifted a necklace and a pair of earrings for review. I think Sugarfix looks even better in person than online!
I love the mix of on-trend and everyday pieces. But the statement pieces are what I recommend, like the colorful tassel earrings. Pair with an off-the-shoulder top or dress and your spring/vacay/summer look is done. Everything's really affordably priced and you guys, I honestly can't tell the difference between Sugarfix and regular Baublebar! #ourlittlesecret
Many of the pieces are now on clearance, making way for the next roll out (new pieces will launch each month - I'm seeing lots of new pieces online), making this collab even more affordable.
Also, a friendly reminder: Victoria Beckham for Target launches this Sunday, April 9th, in stores and online at target.com (start checking the website after midnight on Saturday if there's something you can't live without!) You can read my initial thoughts on it here.
With just ten days until Easter, I thought it'd be fun to share the latest Easter decor by Threshold which I've spotted on recent Target runs. I didn't get a chance to photograph all the things, but I've linked them up below. It's all so good! The collection has a classic, vintage feel that looks collected over time.
Pick a few store-bought items to blend in with DIY elements...maybe tuck a white rabbit figurine into some fresh flowers or branches from your garden for a centerpiece, or just hang the egg wreath on your front door to welcome friends. Prices ranges from $5 to $25.
Earlier I shared my recent buys at Payless and Sole Society at the end of this post, and today I'll share my recent buys at JCPenney and Target. I've been methodically building my spring wishlist, so these are items I know I've wanted for many weeks, and now I'm pulling the trigger!
I'm loving this outfit inspiration from model Jourdan Dunn, who wore a navy off-the-shoulder top with fringe jeans for a fashion shoot back in January.
She carried a bright yellow dome satchel that complements the navy blue of the top so well, and then finished with a neutral ankle bootie that's anything but boring with it's stiletto heel and edgy gladiator styling.
I found a lookalike top for only $10 at SheIn, which literally has hundreds of off-the-shoulder tops to choose from! Quality may be hit or miss but at these rock-bottom prices, it's an irresistible way to get in on this trend.
Since block heels are having a moment (and are so much easier to walk in), I chose this Sole Society shoe for the look for less, but this heel by Jessica Simpson is a great lookalike with maj sex appeal - and it's under $100!
I got the spring mailer from Payless this week with a 25% off coupon, so I went a little crazy and ordered four pairs of shoes: The Nikolle Low Heel Slide in black, the Naomi Block Heel in natural, the bright fuchsia Dottie D'Orsay Knot Flat, and the Tasha Chopout Block Heel. I'm not sure I'll keep all of them but my grand total was just $83.71 shipped!
Then, I went nuts at Sole Society and ordered the Korah Crossbody in dusty rose, the blush combo Rowen, and the cognac Jolene (Chloe vibes!) I normally carry a backpack and haven't bought a new bag in ages since I'm usually just toting around stuff for the kiddos but I wanted to up my handbag game for spring! I may not keep all of them, we'll see. I'll keep you posted.
