My New Frye-Inspired Boots from Target

As holidays with my family now involve three energetic dogs and two adorable nephews under the age of 6, not to mention unpredictable Chicago weather, my uniform for looking presentable yet comfortable involves boots, skinnies and tunic sweaters. Simple, functional, stylish. The newest addition to said boot arsenal is the Mossimo Supply Co. Katherine Leather Engineer Boot ($49.99), which my sister managed to find for me in-store after I waited too long and they sold out online. Sis, I owe you one!! I love these boots. These boots are made for walkin'. Rugged, tough, timeless. They will require some breaking in but so far, I love wearing them. Anyone else score a pair of these?

Sweet boots!!

I bought a pair (had to get a full size smaller than I usually wear) and am happy to hear you say that for you they take some breaking in too. :-)

they didn't have my size in the store though, and I didn't try going to any others. I will have to keep my eyes open, you'll have to let us (me) know how they break in after the holidays.

am dying for a pair, cannot find them anywhere!!

I bought a pair about a month or so ago and they have since been broken in quite a bit, and I love them! Pop in some Dr. Scholls or similar for some improved support, and these babies are good to go.

I think I'm finally going to splurge and buy them before they completely disappear! One person said they had to buy them a whole size smaller, did anyone else notice that they are true to size or not?

HI! Considering if I should purchase these or the authentic frye boots. Could you tell me how these from target are holding up almost a year later?

Corrine - I have the boots in black and they have held up quite well over the past year. Definitely a great deal! I wrote a review on Amazon and uploaded a pic of what my boots look like after a year's use. Clicking on my homepage button should take you there, or just copy and paste:
