Ask BB: Kristen Wiig's Looks from 'Bridesmaids'

I just saw the movie Bridesmaids and loved all the short dresses and blazers Kristen Wiig's character wears. I have a lot of wedding related events to attend this summer and think her look would be perfect. Any ideas on where to shop? —kendraoc via The Budget Babe forums

From photos I've found online, I'm loving Kristen Wiig's on-screen wardrobe! As you mentioned, her character Annie wears a lots of cute, playful print dresses paired with fitted blazers and colorful jewelry for a look that's casual yet pulled together and fun. She's also a fan of stripes, which makes her an instant winner in my book.

Keep reading for some outfits I put together inspired by Kristen's "vintage modern" movie style. (You can click on any item for shopping details.)

Look 1: At first glance, Kristen looks like she's just wearing a pinstripe dress with a blazer...

...but upon closer inspection, you'll notice her yellow enamel heart earrings, bright blue double-strand necklace and black enamel bangle. From a different angle (scroll back up to the top photo) you can see she finishes her look with red shoes. If anyone can tell what bag she's carrying, let me know in the comments please! Here's my budget take:

Look 2: In this look, Kristen is wearing a red floral dress from Urban Outfitters (sold out). (For more on Kristen's exact fashions as seen in the movie, check out this post by the incomparable Possessionista.)

Recreate her look with a dress from You could probably find something similar at Target or Forever 21 as well.

Look 3: In this look, Kristen pairs a dark print dress with a lighter chambray blue blazer.

I couldn't find a full length photo, so I took some liberties with her shoes, but you get the idea.

Finally, round out your Bridesmaids-inspired wardrobe with some casual staples like a gray pullover and a couple striped tops.

Love, love, love all the looks you put together and totally inspired me to pair a blazer instead of a cardy with some of my more frilly looks, be it for casual or for work. YAY, thanks BB! :-)

Funny... i thought the looks they put her in were wayyyyy too short, and i think that was done on purpose to kind of highlight her immaturity/lack of direction/etc. as compared to her bride friend and the rich bridesmaid

I do agree on the length of her dresses, they would definitely be too short for me! But i love the cute dresses with the blazers combo, and all your ideas are great!! I saw the movie, and I believe she is carrying a Gucci tote which is to do die for!

Do you have any idea where I could find the gold pendant necklace she wore throughout the entire film? Or at least something like it. Thanks!

Kristen is wearing an A.P.C. gold apple cut-out necklace.

Her exact necklace is no longer available but there are two new options you might like on the A.P.C. website:

I just watched this movie again after not seeing it for a long time, and I am now obsessing over the really cute red and white baseball top that Kristen Wiig wears at the end of the movie. Could someone PLEASE tell me where I can find this?!!!!!
