Essie's Fall 2011 Nail Polish Collection is Inspired by Handbags

Essie has revealed their new "carry on" fall collection, a collection of six nail polish colors inspired by handbags of the 1940's and 1950's. The fall color palette is all about classic sophistication and ladylike glamour, and includes the colors Carry On, a mulberry-merlot; Glamour Purse, an almond blush; Case Study, a rich camel beige; Power Clutch, a dark green; Very Structured, a burnt sienna; and Lady Like, a soft pink.

I haven't had a chance to try any of these just yet but if I had to pick just one (because Essie can be kinda pricey), it would probably be Power Clutch, which I've heard is a dark gray that has striking green undertones once it's on. I refrained from becoming an Essie groupie for a long time but I just can't resist the chic packaging and perfectly nuanced colors.

Which color is your favorite from the Essie Fall 2011 collection?

I love this new collection! I completely agree that they're kind of pricey, so I am also planning on buying the 'Power Clutch'. It's one of my favorite colors out of the collection!

The new collection is really just a great collection of fall colors. I think my fav is the Burnt Sienna. There is just something so "fall"ish about the color.
