Regarding the Julep Dry Shampoo tips: I can attest to the fact that putting your hair in a "sleeping bun" (or even a ponytail, to get it off your face) helps to preserve your style and fight away frizz. However, the rest of the tips seem like they're just pushing you to use (and buy) MORE of their dry shampoo product. The usage amount is really excessive, and is opposite of all the other tips I've heard on how to use dry shampoo (which is only sparingly, and only when you need it).

I have to agree I do love post that are informational about styles and how-to pages, but when it's just to promote a certain product it kind of makes me wonder about the validity of the information.

meg: You're definitely right, the Julep blog is there to promote the products they sell - however I had never heard that you're supposed to put dry shampoo in your hair on the first day you wash it - while it's still clean. Seems counterintuitive. I might try it but not with the Julep product, I've been looking for a good all-natural dry shampoo so if you know of one, let me know! :-)

You're definitely right, it just disappoints me, knowing that they are supposed to write something about beauty products or whatsoever instead of promoting something. I love to read blogs which are very helpful to a lot of people, this makes me more knowledgeable about a certain topic.

Target-Addict: I agree, it's definitely a video created to promote a specific product but I did enjoy the tips like the bun (which now I will definitely have to try - my hair is so thin and needs all the volume it can get!). Plus it can't be healthy to spray that much of those chemicals on your head, near your nose etc. where you're inhaling the fumes, that can't be good for anyone!
