Peter Pilotto for Target Lookbook

Peter Pilotto for Target Lookbook Images

This evening Target hosted an exclusive Peter Pilotto collection press preview and released the look book images to invitees 12 hours ahead of national distribution to the media. The Budget Babe contributor Vanessa Williams Stevenson attended the event and snapped her own photos - so stay tuned for those - in the meantime, here's the official lookbook to enjoy. The collection comes out February 9th, plus international fans can shop a curated assortment of looks on Net-A-Porter.com. Peter Pilotto for Target will feature nearly 70 items, from dresses and skirts to clutches and swimwear, with most items retailing for less than $60. I feel like we've seen these kaleidoscopic prints before (Prabal Gurung x Target) but I'm not tired of them yet and it's certainly fun for spring! Join the convo using #PETERPILOTTOForTarget on social.

What do you guys think, see anything you must have?

The cropped top and skirt combo is really cute, but it's hard to imagine wearing these unless you're a style blogger.

I long for the days when these designer lines were well constructed a la Isaac Mizrahi and Patrick Robinson (I still have a few pieces in my closet). I've been sorely disappointed in the newer collections with their poor choice of cheap fabric choices.

So I can hope this line (many of the dresses are really cute) will use better fabric (a girl can hope and dream, right?)

Yikes, I wouldn't wear any of these.

I am so in love with the red one. Nice combos though but I am not gonna try something like this in winter

I really love those dresses. They remind me of Erdem.

OMG These are so hideous!!! Omg what was Target thinking. Why can't they find normal designers to work with? Haha could you imagine if I showed up to work in a crop top and those stupid looking yellow pants? I'd get fired in a second and probably sent to an insane asylum.

all together it's kind of... not great.. but if you separate the pieces some of them might be able to work?? I'm not a good stylist so I'd stay away from everything but that black-white double pattern skit

I love the color blocked blazer but it's a safe choice. I really love the fitted black and yellow long sleeved dress!
