I had never been certain about the romper look in the past. I loved the idea of their uniqueness and playful vibe. But I was never sure if I could actually pull one off, and it didn’t help when people (males in particular) would express openly that they were not a fan of the trend. So, I would hang it back up on the store rack with remorse and feel sad that I couldn’t take the risk. Rompers have been one of those fashion trends that women either love or hate, embrace or cringe at the sight of them.
However, on a recent trip to Forever21, I found a romper with a pattern I fell in love with. I took it into the dressing room, put it on and was surprised at how much I adored it. So then I thought, “Who cares what other people think?” What matters is that I like it. Any Budget Babe and fashionista knows that this is true about any piece that might be slightly “out there,” whether it be clothing, a bag, or jewelry. It’s all about how you wear it! So if you have yet to brave a romper, I challenge you to give it another try with one of these cute options I’ve rounded up for you!

Throw on this cute bird-printed strapless over your swimsuit or for a casual day in the sun!

2. Threadsence ‘What A Dream’ Romper, $44

7. Lulu’s Satin Jumpsuit, $49
This bright jumpsuit in satin is a great little number for a bit more of a formal setting, but still springy!

8. BDG Chambray Shirt Romper, $39 (down from $69)
Chambray shirts, chambray dresses—why not a chambray romper?

9. Forever21 High Desert Surplice Romper, $20
This one is the happy medium between a tank top and sleeves, with a lively tribal pattern that just shouts summer!

10. Xhilaration Cutout Printed Romper, $25
We love our cutouts in out shoes and dresses, so naturally we’d love a romper with cutouts too! And of course we adore the polka dots as well

11. Charlotte Russe Flutter Sleeve Slit-Back Romper, $27
A basic white but pretty romper, the opening in the back gives it just a subtle touch of sexy but still sophisticated.

I've always been questionable about them too, but then I found one at Macy's on sale and snatched it up! This was back in October so I have yet to wear it, but maybe this weekend when I'm visiting Nashville it'll be warm enough!
