Decorate by Number: Lauren Conrad's Beverly Hills Living Room

Lauren Conrad's Beverly Hills living room

In this weekly column, I'm showing you how to create a chic, expensive-looking space on a budget! Check out my blog A Vintage Splendor for more style inspiration.

Chances are you’ve laid your eyes on the latest issue of InStyle and have been drooling over Lauren Conrad’s Beverly Hills penthouse ever since. It’s everything you would imagine the designer/author/reality star/philanthropist’s home would be and more.
Lauren and her new husband William brought together their individual aesthetics, which makes for one beautifully designed home that is livable and practical. The home is filled with flea-market finds, modernist pieces, and cheerful pops of color. While Lauren loves spaces that are all white and pink with gold accents, William likes modern and masculine interiors. I’m guessing many of you are nodding your heads in agreement as you can relate. I think successfully designed spaces come from combining a variety of tastes and types of spaces. It just makes for a more interesting space. Rather than become green with envy, you can replicate this sophisticated look on a budget:
