I've ripped two denim shirts in the past two weeks (no joke), so on my last trip to Target I was on the hunt for a new one. I wear denim shirts all the time, layered under sweaters, layered over t-shirts, and paired with skirts for a casual yet put-together going out look. This Mossimo denim-look shirt ($22.99) caught my eye because it's made from lyocell so it's really fluid, almost like silk, and thanks to a tip from a savvy friend of mine, I happen to know that it's also a great look for less for this popular Rails 'Marlow' Tencel lyocell shirt, $136 at Nordstrom.com. If you get one shirt this season, make it this one! (Read more on lyocell here.)
I'm still contemplating getting these raw edge hem jeans (similar), which are a great look for less of Hudson's raw edge denim (here). And was struck by a matching floral blouse and short set - would I look amazing or silly in this? I didn't have time to try it on but it certainly caught my attention.
Other highlights include a floral crepe shift dress by Merona, a ponte fit-and-flare dress (in solid magenta, black and white stripes or minty green stripes), and some cute eyelet shorts with a J.Crew vibe, also by Merona. Of course, you could just wait and save your money for the Lilly Pulitzer collection, which is coming April 19th (view the lookbook here).

This dress screams Mara Hoffman!

Cute raincoats and boots for tots, something I've been looking high and low for...
