Target has shared the fall 2015 lookbook for AVA & VIV, its exclusive and affordable collection of stylish basics and trend-driven statement pieces just for the Plus woman. Ranging in size from 14–26, the collection updates each month to offer chic and versatile pieces including tops, pants, skirts, sweaters, dresses and outerwear from $10–$79.99. This fall, they've once again partnered with top fashion bloggers Chastity Garner, Gabi Gregg and Nicolette Mason to style and model in the fall look book. I've been blogging since 2007 and can say this is a groundbreaking campaign and the results are beautiful.
Trends include winter florals, soft woven pants, winter pastels (mostly seen on accessories), check prints and fit and flare dresses. Pieces that stand out to me include the black moto jacket ($44.99), C'est La Vie tee ($16.99), brushstroke skirt ($24.99) and soft floral pants ($27.99). I'm intrigued by the faux shearling jacket ($49.99) but would need to see that in person regarding quality and fabrication. My only complaint would be that all the images were shot horizontally, making it a bit more difficult to see the clothes, but you can pin any image from my page to see it enlarged.
