This Never Happens: Hunter Wellington Boots Are Just $79.99 at Costco

Hunter Wellies Cheap! At Costco!
Earlier this evening after I posted this look to Instagram, a number of alert readers informed me that Costco is currently running an incredible rare promotion for Hunter wellies, selling the original tall boot style for just $79.99 (regularly $150)! Choose from the original tall in gloss or matte, or the original short (which I believe is $76.99). See all the styles at Costco.com.

What's more, I was told that Nordstrom is price-matching. That's right, they will match the Costco price. However, after doing a little digging on the interwebs, I noticed that some people were able to get the pricematch (by calling 1.888.282.6060) whereas other shoppers were told prices could only be matched if the exact size and style boot you wanted was still in stock at Costco.com - and unfortunately many styles are already sold out (and the rest are selling out quickly). Nonetheless, with a deal this good I wanted to spread the news so you could check your local Costco store or Costco.com (must be a member/have a membership card), and it can't hurt to try calling Nordstrom for a price match, too!

Hunter Wellington boots are a classic that's always "in" season after season, and these adorbs yet practical rainboots will last for years. I got my pair on Gilt.com years ago and still wear them a ton this time of year with cute boot socks and leggings or skinny jeans. For under $80, you can't beat this price! Makes a great holiday gift, too. Good luck and let me know if you're able to snag a pair.

Still not keen on paying $80 for rainboots? Thanks to yet another alert reader via Instagram, I discovered these amazing look for less boots that are just $40 and come in seven sensational colors. Score!

Woo hoo! Thanks so muchfor the tip! I had to order a size up, but I'm hoping my local Costco will have my size and I can exchange it or something. Either that or wear really thick socks! :-)

An equally great brand is Joules, which regular retail is on par with Hunter but they have a version at Target for half the price (about $69.99).

Love Costco! Snagged a pair of matte black and matte green and can't wait to get them in the mail. My husband just asked yesterday what I would like for our wedding anniversary. So done and done! Is it wrong I am still thinking about the matte red for Christmas?

Um of course you need red! So glad you got the pairs you wanted :-)
