Gigi Hadid was pretty in pink as she left her apartment during New York Fashion Week in a girly-glam mixup of hot pink turtleneck sweater, embellished crop jeans and the fuzziest, sparkliest Christian Louboutin mules.
As I've been following New York Fashion Week coverage from the comfort of my iPhone, I've seen no shortage of pink on the runways and the guests. Tom Ford's Spring 2018 collection stands out, where Gigi walked the runway in a gorgeous dusty pink bodycon dress with disco ball sleeves (here).
This look reminds me of the early aughts when I wore a lot of bright pink (a color I shied away from as a little girl but fully embraced in my twenties). Gigi's look works because of the sophisticated silhouette of her sweater and the fact that, well, it's hard not to smile when you see shoes this fun!
Since I couldn't find a mule that was both covered in glitter and hot pink fur, I went for the color with this Who What Wear satin pair (also in black or yellow).
Then I linked up some amazing embellished jeans, but you could also try your hand at a DIY for a custom look. Have fun with it!
