Reader Lindsay R. asked me to find a Burberry trench coat lookalike for under $100. So I thought this Angie Harmon look from 2016 was the perfect chance to showcase affordable trench coats, plus a chic way to style one!
The truth is, a classic Burberry trench coat never goes out of style. But they cost over $1,000.
My advice when shopping for a trench coat is to check T.J. Maxx or Marshalls. They almost always have classic trench coats under $100 in-stock from brands like London Fog, Via Spiga, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Michael Michael Kors and Calvin Klein.

As for Angie's look, I love how she started with classic basics, then glammed up her ensemble with a red leather bag and leopard-stud heels. Her braided belt was feeling a bit too boho to me, so I took the liberty of updating her look with a Gucci inspired belt instead. What do you think?
