I finally made a decor decision and bought a new headboard for my bedroom. Currently I've been sleeping on a mattress and boxspring, no bed frame or headboard. But it's all good. Little by little, I'll get it done!
Still, I can't fathom paying upwards of $800 or more for a bed (like this beauty) at this point. One way to save big on your bedroom is to buy a headboard instead. They're much easier to swap out, too, as your style whims change.
I decided I wanted something classic yet glam, so I opted for a winged tufted headboard. Hopefully it will be comfortable for bedtime reading, too. And of all places, I found the exact look I wanted at Walmart.com. Their Better Homes and Gardens brand is kind of a goldmine. I'll report back once the headboard arrives. Hope it looks good in real life, too!
THE LOOK: King Size Tufted Wingback Headboard, $494 at bedbathandbeyond.com
