Dollar Bin Diaries: Spring Has Sprung in the Target Dollar Bins

Spring has sprung in the Target dollar bins.
I shared all the adorable Easter goodness at Target in this post, and now I've got more photos of the latest spring-themed dollar bin finds to share with you! It is all so cute, you guys. From the "hello, spring" pillows to the "enjoy the little things" wall art, I think you'll find it hard to resist adding an item or two to your decor.

Other highlights include mini faux succulents that will look convincingly real in all your Instagram shots, some blue and pink ombre vases, plus adorable butterfly banners, wall decals, and string lights you could use for a spring fete (or to decorate a kid's room).

There's also lots of new finds for your outdoors space - you'll see a photo of the copper plant signs below, but there's more in-store. Everything's just $1 to $5, so be mindful of the pricetags because all this cuteness can start to add up if you're not careful...but we're all careful, aren't we!?

Let me know what you're buying/loving at Target lately in the comments!

Spot the Real: Jeffrey Campbell 'Taggart' Cutout Bootie

Can you guess which boots cost $140 more than the other?
My ankle bootie collection seems to grow each season, and I seem to have multiples of many styles at this point...but each time I see a variation in heel height, toe shape and color, I find it hard to resist adding to my stash. One bootie I definitely don't have is something like Jeffrey Campbell's gorgeous 'Taggart' cutout bootie which features unique diamond cutouts that add texture and interest, not to mention air flow for the spring and summer months. Wear these with your favorite jeans, your favorite skirts and dresses, you name it! As irresistible as this ankle boot may be, there's a look for less that'll save you $140 to get in on the trend. Either is a can't-go-wrong option in my book. See if you can spot the real from the steal by clicking on a link below!

Off the Rack: Design Love Fest Luggage at Target

Design Love Fest luggage lands at Target.
During my last trip to Target I noticed an end-cap display featuring a new luggage collection by Design Love Fest blogger Bri Emery. I've followed Design Love Fest on and off for years and can't even remember how I stumbled upon them, but their photography is always inspiring and I always have one of their free downloads decorating my desktop background!

The luggage collection is inspired by Bri's love of the color blush, simple designs and graphic details, she writes in this post which shows the bags in action in Hawaii. Maybe the bags don't look like much on the racks at Target but once you see her photos, you'll be craving this pink carryon with the prettiest Dalmatian spot interior #swoon. No more boring black suitcases; you'll be able to spot yours coming down the carousel at the airport from a mile away! I'm ready to ditch my Target x Missoni carry-on for one of these beauties. Also loving this cosmetics case, just $9.99!

Target also has their outdoor collection out so I snuck a few photos of that down below as well. Pineapple door mat anyone!?

Off the Rack: Spring Highlights at H&M

Spring fashions at H&M
H&M recently remodeled their store at my nearest mall and it is a thing of beauty. For spring, they're showcasing lots of bomber jackets, high-rise and cropped denim (like this pair), and chunky block heels (like this pair). The palette was mostly muted tones - blush, olive and gray stood out to me.

I expected to see more yellow, one of the season's top colors, but only found the sunny hue on a few handbags and scarves...which come to think of it is the perfect way to add a pop of color to your wardrobe.

H&M always has you covered with the latest basics, like denim jackets, leather jackets, sporty hoodies, blazers, lightweight cargo jackets (love this one), and day-to-night blouses. My favorite pieces were the leopard print ones, like this sweater and this coat.

If these in-store pics inspire you to do a little shopping, you can save up 30% off and get free shipping right now at hm.com.

Off the Rack: What to Buy at JCPenney This Spring

a.n.a. lace tops for spring
In yesterday's post I shared the perfect parka I picked up this past weekend at JCPenney, and today I'm sharing photos of the new spring styles I spotted in store! While I've read recent reports that JCPenney is closing up to 140 stores, I'm happy to report that their spring fashion game is seriously strong and worth checking out.

My favorite pick has to be this peplum hem top ($19.99 ) which looks so good in any of the five available prints - stripes or florals, you can't go wrong! I'd style the top with white jeans and cognac accessories (like this).

This bomber jacket also looks lovely and grown-up (some bombers are too trendy for me I guess!) and a steal at just $39.99.

These Gucci-inspired rose embroidered jeans are also on-point for spring, and just $29.99. The detailing looks really good in real life as you'll see in my photo below. There's also a flirty off-the-shoulder rose embroidered chambray dress for just $34.99.

Finally, this lace blouse by Worthington (shown above) looks absolutely gorgeous in real life - it's definitely a showstopper for your Instagram feed, but also totally wearable in real life. Both the blush pink and white are great options for spring and at just $24.99, you might be tempted to get both!

So, those are just a few of the things I'm loving at JCPenney this spring - check out my photos below to see everything I thought was noteworthy!
