Off the Rack: New Fall Shoes You'll Love at Target

See in-store pics of the new fall boots at Target
Oh, Target. You know the way to a woman's heart. This season, it goes a little something like this: Tall suede-look boots, menswear loafers, lace-up pumps in lilac pink, lace-up flats (now available in denim), ankle-strap quilted ballet flats. And then there are the duck boots (same price as last year's) for pumpkin patch photo ops, not to mention all the ankle boots. Oh, those ankle boots. My collection just keeps growing. But I don't own any quite like this pair yet. #someonestopme All the shoes shown here are under $50 (the most expensive being the over-the-knee pair by dv Dolce Vita). Which shoes are you loving at Target this season?

Check out my post on what's new in the Target dollar bins.

If you really love shoes then a pair of Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots is probably pinned to your wishlist (if not already sitting in your closet). But at $845, these beauties aren't exactly part of the monthly budget...luckily Old Navy has a pair of similar over-the-knee boots that should at least satisfy your outfit needs for fall, featuring a stylish low heel and pretty faux suede finish. Pair with midi skirts and dresses for a chic vibe that's work appropriate, too.

Dollar Bin Diaries: Halloween and More Fall Finds at Target

Dollar bin finds at Target right now include the cutest things for Halloween.
Like it or not, Halloween decor is already cropping up in all the stores, including the Target dollar bins. Sometimes I wonder how long we can perpetuate the endless cycle of holidays as a society, but I'll leave that job up to someone more qualified...for your Halloween festivities, Target has some stylish items like tulle decor, glass vials and other assorted vintage-looking jars, some black and white marbelized pieces that are really chic (pumpkin, pillow, tags), as well as signs with cute sayings, newsprint banners, and artwork featuring a very Edgar Allan Poe raven. The more I rummaged, the more I got into the fall holiday spirit. Leaf motifs adorned napkin rings and cookie cutters, adorable ramekins made me think of Thanksgiving meals and of course, all the candy and crafts for kids had my 3-year-old absolutely giddy. I let him fill a pail with some fun finds and reflected on how wonderful this time as a parent truly is, when you can take your kid to the dollar spot at Target and it's like Disneyland to them! Scroll through my pics and tell me what you're picking up this fall...so. much. goodness.

Back-to-School with Kohl's: Utility Jacket and Lace-Up Flats

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kohl’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

Pair a cargo jacket with a striped tee and lace-up flats for a chic back-to-school look.

Back-to-school fashion is all about finding versatile pieces that you can wear multiple ways, which is why this Mudd Embroidered Utility Jacket was a clear choice for me as I was putting together my third look for Kohl's (see my first and second looks here and here). To say I'm obsessed would be an understatement: You can wear utility jackets with ripped jeans and Converse, shorts and combat boots, or even a flirty dress and heels. #musthaveforreal The embroidery on this particular utility jacket makes it feel special while the black-and-white color palette is still easy to mix and match with everything in your closet.

Pinspiration: Chambray and Camo Inspired by Shop Dandy

Mix chambray and camo print for a fun fall look.
Over the weekend I went to Kohl's to pick out pieces for my back-to-school post series (here and here), and one of the looks I put together in the dressing room - but didn't actually end up shooting for the blog - was this chambray shirt and camo jogger combination. I posted it to Instagram and you guys loved it! #woohoo

I was inspired by the lovely Danielle from Shop Dandy - her style is always on point! She mixes colors, prints and textures in a way that's what I would call everyday glam...fun and chic, yet totally wearable. Head over to her blog Shop Dandy for details on her exact look (above left) - her top and pants are LOFT, making this a very affordable ensemble. The accessories - like her swoon-worthy Tory Burch bag - definitely elevate the look and take it to the next level. My outfit is entirely from Kohl's, and you can shop the look for less picks below.
