Off the Rack: Sugarfix by Baublebar at Target (Some Pieces On Clearance!)

Sugarfix by Baublebar at Target
Yesterday I finally got to browse the first installment of Sugarfix by Baublebar jewelry at my local Target. I've already ordered some pieces online (these earrings in two colors), plus I was gifted a necklace and a pair of earrings for review. I think Sugarfix looks even better in person than online!

I love the mix of on-trend and everyday pieces. But the statement pieces are what I recommend, like the colorful tassel earrings. Pair with an off-the-shoulder top or dress and your spring/vacay/summer look is done. Everything's really affordably priced and you guys, I honestly can't tell the difference between Sugarfix and regular Baublebar! #ourlittlesecret

Many of the pieces are now on clearance, making way for the next roll out (new pieces will launch each month - I'm seeing lots of new pieces online), making this collab even more affordable.

Also, a friendly reminder: Victoria Beckham for Target launches this Sunday, April 9th, in stores and online at target.com (start checking the website after midnight on Saturday if there's something you can't live without!) You can read my initial thoughts on it here.

Easter Decorating with Threshold at Target, Plus My Latest Spring Buys

Easter decor at Target
With just ten days until Easter, I thought it'd be fun to share the latest Easter decor by Threshold which I've spotted on recent Target runs. I didn't get a chance to photograph all the things, but I've linked them up below. It's all so good! The collection has a classic, vintage feel that looks collected over time.

Pick a few store-bought items to blend in with DIY elements...maybe tuck a white rabbit figurine into some fresh flowers or branches from your garden for a centerpiece, or just hang the egg wreath on your front door to welcome friends. Prices ranges from $5 to $25.

My Recent Buys

Earlier I shared my recent buys at Payless and Sole Society at the end of this post, and today I'll share my recent buys at JCPenney and Target. I've been methodically building my spring wishlist, so these are items I know I've wanted for many weeks, and now I'm pulling the trigger!

JCPenney is offering an extra 30% off your order (you'll see the coupons when you're checking out, make sure you pick the one that offers the greatest discount - it works even if you're not using a JCP card) so I really went for it you guys! I picked up this Worthington lace blouse in blush pink, the a.n.a. peplum hem blouse in navy floral, navy stripe, and black and white stripe (had such a hard time narrowing it down, honestly I kinda want the pink and green florals too!), the Belle + Sky crossfront top in black, Belle + Sky white distressed skinny jeans and the black skinny jeans, this Belle + Sky off-the-shoulder top, this drape front tee, this button-front off-the-shoulder top, and this floral off-the-shoulder top.

It may seem like a lot but I paid only between $11.89 and $20.99 per item, plus I got free shipping! I just hope everything fits.

At target.com, shoes are still buy one get one 50% off, so I picked up the Merona 'Magnolia' sandals in cognac and the Who What Wear 'Carolina' block heel slides in tan. Both look comfortable and versatile with a little style factor going on, too.

I'll keep you posted once everything arrives and share photos via Instagram!

Jourdan Dunn's Off-the-Shoulder Top and Fringe Jeans Look for Less

Jourdan Dunn pairs a navy off-the-shoulder top with fringe jeans and a yellow satchel.
I'm loving this outfit inspiration from model Jourdan Dunn, who wore a navy off-the-shoulder top with fringe jeans for a fashion shoot back in January.

Jourdan Dunn pairs a navy off-the-shoulder top with fringe jeans and a yellow satchel.
She carried a bright yellow dome satchel that complements the navy blue of the top so well, and then finished with a neutral ankle bootie that's anything but boring with it's stiletto heel and edgy gladiator styling.

I found a lookalike top for only $10 at SheIn, which literally has hundreds of off-the-shoulder tops to choose from! Quality may be hit or miss but at these rock-bottom prices, it's an irresistible way to get in on this trend.

Since block heels are having a moment (and are so much easier to walk in), I chose this Sole Society shoe for the look for less, but this heel by Jessica Simpson is a great lookalike with maj sex appeal - and it's under $100!

My Recent Buys:

I got the spring mailer from Payless this week with a 25% off coupon, so I went a little crazy and ordered four pairs of shoes: The
Nikolle Low Heel Slide in black, the Naomi Block Heel in natural, the bright fuchsia Dottie D'Orsay Knot Flat, and the Tasha Chopout Block Heel. I'm not sure I'll keep all of them but my grand total was just $83.71 shipped!

Then, I went nuts at Sole Society and ordered the Korah Crossbody in dusty rose, the blush combo Rowen, and the cognac Jolene (Chloe vibes!) I normally carry a backpack and haven't bought a new bag in ages since I'm usually just toting around stuff for the kiddos but I wanted to up my handbag game for spring! I may not keep all of them, we'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Olivia Palermo's Off-the-Shoulder Top and White Sneakers Look for Less

Olivia Palermo off-the-shoulder top and sneakers look for less
Olivia Palermo was ahead of the trend yet again, spotted wearing a white off-shoulder top last May while out and about in NYC.

Olivia Palermo off-the-shoulder top and sneakers look for less

She paired her bold yet casual blouse with skinny ripped jeans and white embroidered sneakers for a laid-back athleisure look.

I love the combination of an ultra-feminine top with sporty sneakers and everyday jeans. It makes this type of top much less intimidating and much more wearable. Try the trend for spring and summer with my picks mostly under $25...

Would You Wear...The Tiara Trend?

Would you wear a tiara for everyday?
We've all considered the tiara for bridal wear (if not for ourselves, than for others), but what about as an everyday hair accessory? Tiaras were big on the spring 2016 runways but I never considered the trend until I saw how trendsetter Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad) wore her bejeweled headband to the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion week last month.

Would you wear a tiara for everyday?

Instead of wearing it in an ironic way, she embraced the girly sparkle and paired her tiara with fresh-faced makeup and pretty pastels. The key is in keeping her hair slightly imperfect, the tiara reads fashion forward and not pretty, pretty princess. What do you, would you wear a tiara to your Easter brunch? If so you can shop the trend under $5 below!
