Yesterday I popped into Kohl's to check out the new Reed Krakoff collection of apparel and handbags. I'm calling this a mini review because I had neither the strength nor the wherewithal to actually try on the clothes, but I got a chance to feel the pieces and get a sense of quality. It's nice. I was not impressed by the lookbook but the collection looks good in person. I really liked this eyelet shirtdress and even this chambray shirtdress. If you saw someone carrying the Reed Atlantique Satchel ($96.75 for the Large, down from $129) you might mistake it for an authentic designer bag.

Victoria Beckham was photographed leaving the Martinez Hotel during the 69th Cannes Film Festival in a super sophisticated black and white look featuring an oversized white shirt tucked into wide-leg tuxedo pants. She finished the look in what we are guessing are some sort of platform heels, a black leather saddle bag, chunky gold chain bracelet, and oversized shades. Everything about this look exudes confidence, from the restrained black and white color palette to her sleek ponytail hairstyle. I'm not sure I ever look this put together but I'm taking notes! Chanel Iman, Emma Roberts and Solange Knowles wore fashions from the new REED x Kohl’s collection for a dinner celebrating the launch earlier this month. I have yet to check out the collection in person but I recommend reading this review by my friend The Recessionista. Chanel Iman's jumpsuit look has to be my favorite.
