Please check your email for further instructions from me on how to claim your prize. Congrats to our winners and thanks to everyone who entered, I'm glad I'm not the only lotion hoarder out there ;-)

Please note: The giveaway portion of this post has ended and is now closed to further entries.

Did you know that over one-third of women admit to having more than 20 products stored in their medicine cabinet? For me, the number is much, much higher. Recently I had the chance to test drive a new product that has helped me cut down on at least one category of beauty products, namely, lotions. Almost one-fourth of women say they own more than four lotions, and I think I counted at least 13 in my own cabinet (granted, I'm a blogger, but still. A bit unnecessary LOL).

Vaseline Total Moisture is the only lotion you need because it feels good on skin and does good for skin. Sometimes women feel they have to make a tradeoff between a lotion that feels good, or one that works well - but Vaseline Total Moisture does both.

I've been using Vaseline Total Moisture on all my nooks and crannies, from my hands down to the my feet, and have found it delivers a clean feeling formula that leaves my skin feeling healthy and soft. The oat variety combines pure oat extract and Stratys-3 multi-layer moisture complex for 24 hour moisturization that never feels greasy and won't wash off easily (say, when you wash your hands). I like the light fragrance that doesn't linger and the bright, cheerful packaging that my husband won't be afraid to use, either!

Vaseline Total Moisture is affordable, too, available in three sizes: 3 ox ($1.99), 10 oz ($3.99), 20.3 oz ($6.99) and 32 oz ($7.79).

I couldn't just rave about something without sharing, so I'm excited to be able to offer a fun giveaway for 5 lucky readers!

To enter: Tell me how many lotions you have in your own medicine cabinet in the comments section below.

The prize: Five (5) lucky winners will each receive one prize package, each including one (1) 10 oz. bottle of Vaseline Total Moisture, plus other fab beauty goodies.

Good luck!

BB Exclusive: Save 15 Percent at Mimi's The Look for Less

As the name suggests, Mimi's The Look for Less is an online boutique that offers designer jewelry looks for less, from J.Crew's bubble necklace to David Yurman's cable ring. The quality is nowhere near that of the originals, but the affordable prices mean you can add a little sparkle to your day without a big investment.

Mimi's sent me a few items to try out for myself, including some neon stud earrings and a faux-leather wrap bracelet. I wouldn't have selected these items for myself, but it was a thoughtful gesture, proving Mimi's has courteous customer service. Also, they've extended a coupon code to BB readers in case you're looking for a little bling yourself. The code is BUDGETBABE, and it will be good for 15% off your entire order thru August 3, 2012.

Here, my top picks:

Lunch Hour Shopping: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

As a budget fashion blogger, I would be remiss if I did not remind you about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale which is going on now through August 6th. But the truth is, I just can't bring myself to think about fall fashion just yet. Who knows what kind of boots I'll want to slip on when the leaves start to fall? Or what color coat I'll want to wrap myself in when chilly winds begin to blow? Nonetheless, Nordstrom wants us to plan ahead, and they're offering the best prices of the season on dozens of new fall fashions to encourage us to shop now. The early bird gets the best deal, so don't be like me - head to Nordstrom.com now if you haven't already and get started on your chicest fall wardrobe to date.

{Shown above: My top picks would include... 1) BP Runway Boot, $89.90 (after sale $129.95); 2) bebe Mixed Media Trench Coat, $119.90 (after sale $198); 3) Vince Camuto Parker Satchel, $218 (after sale $328)}

Have you shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale already? What did you buy?

TheBudgetBabe.com Gets A Makeover!

Ta-da! Notice anything different?! I finally gave my blog a much-needed makeover. Hopefully you'll find it cleaner, brighter and easier to use. Same great content, fresh new look! While we're on the subject, allow me to bring a few things to your attention.

First, I enlisted the help of Dandy Designs Boutique to design my glossy new banner. Couldn't. Be. Happier.
