There's no avoiding it: Retailers are rolling out all their holiday merchandise, and at Urban Outfitters I spotted lots of sparkly holiday wardrobe options as well as the usual hipster gift paraphernalia. Admittedly, I saw a lot to get excited about, starting with a gorgeous ivory beaded dress (sadly it was $249 but worth stalking on sale). UO always provides great styling inspiration with their mannequins, too, layering cozy sweaters with floral skirts and ankle boots; oversized cardigans with color denim and infinity scarves, and over-the-knee socks with easy print dresses, perfect for fall. Even if you're not a regular UO shopper, it's worth making a trip for the embellished headbands (cheaper than Anthropologie but just as chic), cute gloves and beaded clutches. If I were a shoe, I'm pretty sure I'd be a Chelsea boot. It's in every model-off-duty and cool girl's closet (which is what I not-so-secretly wish I was) and that's why you'll spot it on the likes of Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.
