Best on a Budget: Chelsea Boots

Alexa Chung's fur vest, skinny jeans and black ankle boots fashion style look
If I were a shoe, I'm pretty sure I'd be a Chelsea boot. This classic style first made popular by the Beatles is practical yet polished, with a sensible heel and elastic panels on the side for easy slip-on styling. It's in every model-off-duty and cool girl's closet (which is what I not-so-secretly wish I was) and that's why you'll spot it on the likes of Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham. Do Chelsea boots need any more endorsement than these A-list fashion icons? You can invest in a genuine leather pair that will never go out of style or try the trend with one of these picks under $100 - I guarantee you'll be hooked!

How to indulge like a Shah

If you wanted to find the complete opposite of The Budget Babe lifestyle, "Fab without a fortune," look no further than Bravo's hit show Shahs of Sunset, where cast members live by the mantra "Understated is Overrated." The show focuses on the extravagance of the "Shah" lifestyle - we're talking Louboutins on their feet, Hermes in their hands and LOTS of bling. Tune in to the new season of Shahs of Sunset which premieres TONIGHT, Tuesday Nov. 5th @ 10/9c only on Bravo.

Off the Rack: Cute Stuff at Old Navy and Marshalls

Boots at Marshalls

I made a whirlwind trip to Marshalls and Old Navy this week in search of Halloween costume wares (I was a gardener and baby was a garden gnome) but couldn't resist snapping pics of a few of the cute fashions I saw along the way! At Marshalls I was loving the Isabel Marant inspired booties by Rampage (shown above), Chelsea boots by Wanted and Rag & Bone lookalikes from Jessica Simpson. I also spotted a Rebecca Minkoff Mac in the most delicious cranberry hue, perfect for fall. At Old Navy, those critter sweaters were calling to me - gotta go back for one (or three!) - as were the embellished sweatshirts. So fun!
