BB's Black Friday 2012 Sales List

Best Black Friday Deals and Sales

Ready or not, Black Friday is this Friday, November 23rd. Will you be plunging into the fray headfirst? Shopping from home? Honestly I don't know if I'll be doing any shopping myself (I'd rather relax and spend these precious moments with my family and friends), but this is undoubtedly a big week to score deals and get a lot of that holiday shopping out of the way. Many stores are rolling out pre-Black Friday sales and deals ahead of time, too. Here's a list of all the deals & sales I've received in my inbox. Bookmark this page and keep checking back as I'll be updating my list as more deals come in! Feel free to share your favorite deals/sales/coupon codes in the comments.

What I'm Wearing: Anne Klein Goldtone Bracelet Watch

I might rely on my iPhone to tell time (and the weather, my to-do list, plus a million other things) but nothing can replace a chic watch when it comes to style. Recently, I received the Goldtone Bracelet Watch with Black Glossy Dial from Anne Klein and I'm reminded just how important a watch-as-accessory can be. The delicate bracelet band made of gold-tone links reads like jewelry while the glossy black dial and oversized numerals are cool and sophisticated. I'm obsessed! The best part is that this watch can be dressed up or down. I'll wear it with my usual striped sweaters and skinny jeans, or more recently, with a sweater dress and fur vest for a casual evening look. (Check out my outfit on Pinterest.) Paired with my favorite leather wrap bracelet and a fun fall nail polish (like Julep's Boris & Nicole, an autumn red-brown frost), my Anne Klein watch adds a little shine and class to any look. Love you, iPhone, but you can't do it all!

How to Be The Ultimate Gifter at the T.J. Maxx & Marshalls Holiday Preview

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may have noticed that I attended a T.J. Maxx & Marshalls Holiday press preview in New York City this past Wednesday evening. The T.J. Maxx/Marshalls crew had transformed The Blue Room at the Gansevoort Park Avenue into the ultimate gifting suite! Joe Lupo and Jesse Garza, personal shoppers and founders of luxury lifestyle consulting firm Visual Therapy, were in attendance to share tips on how to become the "ultimate gifter" and choose the perfect present for everyone on your list. Check out the short video above to hear Joe and Jesse's fun tips and click through to see photos from the event.

The Look for Less: Marc Jacobs Graphic Sweaters

Both the Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs brands are showcasing high-contrast graphic sweaters this season featuring geometric designs and bold stripes in colors such as red, black, and white. Prices range from around $178 to $795.

Have you seen these Mossimo sweaters at Target? Tell me these aren't Marc Jacobs inspired! I keep eying them but can't decide if they're fab or fug. Maybe if they go on sale...

Off the Rack: Tracking the Changes at JCPenney

Last week, I made a long-overdue trip to my nearest JCPenney store to check out the major changes the retail chain has been implementing since announcing their plans to become "America's Favorite Store" back in January. Despite the fact that JCPenney's shares fell to 3-year lows just days ago amid "worries about its future" and lagging sales (via), I still have faith that JCP can turn things around. The changes I'm seeing are definitely for the better - everyday low prices (why people want to play the never-ending sale game is beyond me), fresh new labels, and better store displays that make it easier to shop.
