Spot the Real: Isabel Marant Poppy Pumps

One of these ladylike bow-adorned pumps costs nearly 10 times more than the other. Can you tell which one? Admittedly, you can kinda read the label on one of these pics, but try not to look and see if you can spot the designer pair based on the shape, craftsmanship and such. Then click on either image to check your answer!

Off the Rack: Zebra Flats, Sparkly Heels and More at Target

A walk down Target's shoe aisle is like getting a quick lesson in Fall Shoe Trends 101: For 2010, we're seeing ladylike heels, open-toe boots, animal prints, menswear-inspired oxfords, velvet-looking fabrications, shoeties, greige (gray + beige) and clogs. Scan your wardrobe, check your pulse, then pick one or two top trends to incorporate into your wardrobe this season. I'm on the hunt for the perfect leopard flats (Target's option is genuine suede, a definite plus) and a peep-toe boot (love the ones shown above but wonder about the comfort factor.) I recently bought two pairs of Dolce Vita for Target boots on sale (I know, I know, I changed my mind about them and caved!) so no more shoes for Ms. BB for a while. How about you, any Target shoe styles you'd recommend to a friend?

Sneak Peek: Binetti Spring Summer 2011

Sneak Peek: Binetti Spring Summer 2011

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I'll be attending the Binetti Spring Summer 2011 show. Here's a sneak peek:

For spring/summer season, Diego looks to Mother Earth for inspiration. Utilizing earthy color tones like beige, yellows, blues and greens, Diego was able to create a collection that embodies the woman in her own domain as a goddess, confident, elegant, and passionate.

"I design for a woman who owns her domain and has a passion for life. I have a love and devotion that I invest into my work every day which excited me and keeps me going. I am excited to show in Lincoln Center and think that this season will be a hit for all!" —Diego Binetti

The Look for Less: Steve Madden "Daynty" Clog Heel

Thanks to a tip from reader Annica, we have a great look for less for these Steve Madden "Daynty" Clog heels, which cost $95 at kitson.com.

Annica spotted these Xhilaration "Thaddea" Peep-Toe Clog heels at Target, giving you an almost identical look for just $19.99. With trendy styles like this, I think the less expensive pair is the smarter buy. Click either image for more details.

First Look: Mulberry for Target

First Look: Mulberry for Target

In case you missed the Mulberry for Target flash-sale hosted by Gilt.com a couple weeks ago, here are some pics from around the web showcasing the bags we can expect to see in the collection, which launches October 10, 2010.

The range comprises of eight handbag styles priced under $50 and aims to evoke the Mulberry "brand spirit, rather than a compromise on quality." The collection will not use real leather, rather it will use fabrics such as denim, velvet and PVC allowing for "playful and innovative" designs while maintaining an accessible price point.

I can't hide my disappointment at the fact that these bags look more like Juicy Couture or Betseyville knockoffs, with no in sight, but I'll wait until I see them in person to see if tears will be shed.
