My Latest Deal: 15 Dollar "To the Max" Pleat Knit Dress

My Latest Deal: 15 Dollar To the Max Pleat Knit Dress

I recently made my first purchase from Walmart's To the Max collection, an affordable clothing line from high-end design house BCBG Max Azria Group—and I am in love! I know many other budget fashion bloggers out there have been fans of To the Max from the start, but for me, it's like I just uncovered the secret Holy Grail of cheap chic recessionista style! For research purposes (ahem), I bought a ton of great stuff—practically enough clothing to last an entire season—for just over $100 including shipping. My favorite piece, however, has to be this 3/4 sleeve pleat knit dress, which is work appropriate and can be worn many ways. The interesting neckline, pleat detailing, tulip skirt and loveable pockets make this dress a perfect example of budget fashion that looks convincingly like designer fashion. I also appreciate the thick fabric, which makes this dress suitable for fall and winter, and the hidden side zipper. Oh, and did I mention it only costs $15? I'm thinking of buying it in navy, too. Five stars on the fabuless scale, ladies!

i think this dress is cute, but it does sorta make you look preggers. i have a similar dress that is color blocked and i added a skinny belt to it and it makes a diff.

Yeah, love you BB, but this dress does not flatter you, and I kinda doubt those lines would really flatter anybody / not make everyone look like they had a baby bump.

OHHH I love that dress especially since its $15! Is this a new collab or an older one? Definately going to go check that out!

P.S. I finally did my DIY bracelet post :-)

Gorgeous frock! That’s one I’m going to steal so keep it under lock and key. You look beautiful in it, Dianna. I love everything about the cut: the neckline, pockets, length and sleeve detail. Brilliant.

Actually, I posted about a very similar frock style today that I like to dress up and down. I’m sure you could put together similar outfits with this dress if the combinations tickle your fancy:

Gorgeous! And I don't think you look pregnant at all (in response to the person who said you did).

Does it run true to size?

What's the fit like? Should we size up?

I'd say the dress runs true to size. I'm wearing a size S.

Love! I think it's a bit warm to wear now, but I really want to go check it out and save it for fall!

I cannot even begin to describe how happy your post made me! Almost all of my work clothes are from BCBG Max Azria and was under the impression that the cheapest line they had was BCBGeneration (which is still a bit pricey). I am so checking out the Walmart website. Thanks again for posting this!

I LOVE it. I don't have a walmart nearby, so I haven't been able to see any of these clothes in person but what a crazy good find! I'm going to go online shopping right now...

I've bought a few things from that line. I didn't know it was from BCBG Max Azria. WM's Norma Kamali line is awesome too.

Wow! This is my first time hearing about this, and after browsing the Web, I think I'll have to head to Wally World as well.
I need another black dress like a hole in the head but for $15? Yes please.

Walmart should thank you for sending them so much business. I've just bought both colours online! (You look fantastic in it).

This was just delivered to me! Amazing dress, bought it in navy, "ink" and I love it. I think I will have to take it in because Walmart's size S is still pretty big, but its an easy fix.

I plan on wearing it with an amber necklace and black sky high wedges, or with textured tights and spectator pumps.

Thanks for the tip!
