Recently Lands' End sent me a complimentary Chevron Down Coat in Spice Brown ($149.50) to review and the timing could not have been more perfect: Temperatures began to drop below freezing about two weeks ago, and I've been wearing my coat ever since. It's proven it can withstand the cold and keep me cozy when walking my dog or running errands. It's almost too warm for things like shopping; each time I pop into a store for more than 5 minutes at a time, I have to take it off because I start sweating! Now that's a good coat.
