In her "Good Girl" music video, Carrie Underwood wears a flowy Elizabeth and James 'Monet Flower Maxi' dress which retails for $665 at shopbop.com. Not what you'd consider budget friendly, right? But wait! You can rent Carrie's dress instead at a fraction of the price over at RenttheRunway.com. It's still not "cheap" at $125, but for a special occasion, it's a real steal. I rented a Halston Heritage dress and Kenneth Jay Lane necklace for an event a couple months ago and the whole process was easy and fun. I can't say enough good things about the customer service, too. If you've got prom coming up or summer weddings, definitely give RenttheRunway.com a look before you splurge on a gown that you may only end up wearing once or twice.

Refinery 29 recently invited myself along with two of my favorite bloggers, Grace Atwood from Stripes & Sequins, and Jenni Radosevich from I Spy DIY, to create original spring-theme nail art designs in their New York City offices.

Grace did a sweet "Garden Party" pointillism manicure, Jenni went for a "Hot Mod" colorblock design, while I created a "Coachella Nights" inspired landscape.
