Target recently invited me and other bloggers to check out their latest beauty offerings - including some pretty spectacular (and very affordable) holiday gift sets - and to create our own custom beauty look inspired by a holiday theme. My theme was "a night out with the girl's" which gave me free reign to go glam and dive into some festive glitter shadows from Napoleon Perdis. The coolest part is that Target then had Napoleon himself recreate my look on a model (shown above)! Crazy cool. Target is partnering with footwear designers Sam and Libby Edelman to re-launch the Sam & Libby brand through an exclusive partnership. Sam & Libby for Target will debut with 20 styles starting at $24.99, from sandals and flats to patterned wedges and pumps. The ongoing partnership with be available at Target stores and Target.com beginning May 5, 2012, with fresh styles to be introduced each season.

A bit of back story on the brand: Sam & Libby launched in 1987, then got acquired by Brown Shoe Company from The Jones Group in August 2012 and reunited with its founders - so teaming up with Target is a smart financial move for the husband-and-wife duo.

I'd rather just see Target team up with the Sam Edelman brand, since it's one of the "coolest" names in the whole Brown Shoe Company family, but I'll reserve judgement until I see some photos of the collection. Are you excited for this collab?

Hugely popular for their chic wrap watches in dozens of fab colors and styles, La Mer Collections is doing a limited-edition line of timepieces for Target. (Thanks to reader Liya E. for confirming this via Facebook!!) I spied the La Mer for Target watches a couple weeks ago when Target sent me their holiday accessories lookbook, then had the chance to see them in person last night at a Target holiday press event, and I'm happy to say they look amazing. La Mer watches normally retail for between $88-$188 while the Target collection pricepoints are just $39.99-$49.99. Definitely adding this to my holiday wish list!
