Topshop Partners with Google+ on The Future of The Fashion Show

Topshop is pushing the boundaries of fashion week again, this time partnering with Google+ to present its Autumn/Winter 2013 collection to millions of fans around the globe via The Future of The Fashion Show - a digital livestream - and social media integration galore. Viewers will be able to access every aspect of the show as if they were the "Model" on the runway, the "Buyer" in the audience, the "Make Up" artist backstage, the "Designer" fitting a look or the "Celebrity" arriving. The show takes customization and shopping even further with everything from the nail polish to music available instantly.

Watch the teaser above to get all the details, then tune in to watch the runway show LIVE on Topshop.com, Google and media partners globally on Sunday, February 17th at 3pm. Sure beats taking the red-eye to London (oh, to have such problems).

ZARA TRF February Lookbook 2013

ZARA released the TRF February lookbook for 2013, featuring leggy models styled in Zara's (even) more affordable, slightly younger slanting collection. With fashion week fresh on my mind, my eye is drawn to the leather tee and flat ankle boots (saw lots of those on the runway) but its the more ladylike pieces I love, like the polka dot top and jeans, the jacquard cardigan with ribbons, and the printed quilted jacket. Ethnic inspiration abounds on everything from printed denim and embroidered vests, to bowling jackets and cross-body bags. It's a cool mashup that makes me wish I lived closer to a Zara (shopping online can be tough since the sizing varies so much).

Which pieces do you like?

Tracy Reese Fall 2013 Beauty by Mally Roncal

Backstage at Tracy Reese, I had the chance to interview celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, president of Mally Beauty, who created the beauty looks that models rocked on the Fall 2013 runways. The inspiration was the quintessential New York Girl. "She's tough, she's fabulous, she's fierce," says Mally. "[And] she doesn't give a doody squat about what you think about how she looks or how she lives her life!" That's why we love you, Mally! For skin, Mally went light and flawless with soft blush, highlighted cheeks, pale lips in Mally Beauty French Kiss and a super smokey eye created using Mally Beauty's City Chick Smokey Eye Kit in SoHo Silver applied using a bent, naked mascara wand. The look totally popped on the runway. Cool, edgy, gorgeous!
