Capsule Wardrobe: Adam Lippes for Target

Capsule Wardrobe
I hope everyone is excited for another week of fashionable, budget-friendly looks! So, as everyone knows, fall is right around the corner. Get ready for pumpkin spice raining from the sky. Do you know what else is exciting about fall? There’s another designer collaboration that'll make you want to swarm Target starting September 27. Adam Lippes for Target is, as cliché as it sounds, going to make everyone mad for plaid. As an inspiration sidebar, I thought that in honor of most everyone going back to school, I would create looks that would be classroom-friendly (shout out to my teacher friends!). Trust me, the Adam Lippes for Target pieces are more than just classroom-friendly, they’re run-the-world friendly. Let’s get this party started!

Plaid Takeover: Target's Fall Style 2015 Look Book

Target's plaid takeover for fall includes 50+ pieces by designer Adam Lippes
Everyone is buzzing today about Target’s plaid takeover look book for fall, featuring more than 360 items in assorted plaid prints - from pumps to pita chips - launching later this month and going through October. Part of the plaid madness includes an exclusive limited-edition collection by designer Adam Lippes with more than 50 buffalo plaid-inspired items ranging in price from $10 to $129.99. Launching September 27 at all Target stores and on Target.com, the Adam Lippes for Target collection will include home décor, apparel, shoes and accessories for women (shown here) and men. The collection is also plus-size inclusive (hooray!), a first for Target's designer collabs.

A+ by Aldo Shoes is Coming to Target

ALDO and Target Introduce an A+ Collection
Target always knows how to grab our attention, and this time, the big box giant is teaming up with shoe megabrand Aldo to introduce A+, a line of affordable shoes and accessories this fall. The inaugural collection will include 17 styles priced from $24.99 to $59.99, and will update seasonally. Highlights for me include just about all the heeled ankle booties and the Mulberry-esque messenger. I have initial mixed feelings about this collab, but really, it can only be a good thing for Target diehards like myself. As I see it, Aldo always has the latest runway-inspired looks which I love yet the quality never quite matches the price (i.e., they're a tad overpriced) so I'll be eager to shop Aldo at my local Target. No trip to the mall required. Look out for the fall A+ collection in all Target stores and on Target.com the week of September 6.
