Rachel Bilson Wore a $35 Dress to the Cat & Jack for Target Launch Party

Celebrities celebrate the Cat & Jack kids' clothing launch party hosted by Target.
Shown above: Actress Rachel Bilson wears a Who What Wear printed midi dress ($34.99).

Target just launched a massive new kids' clothing line (see my in-store pics here), and celebrated with a celebrity-packed party in New York City. One of my favorite style muses who we don't get to see much these days - Rachel Bilson - looked chic in a Who What Wear for Target print midi dress. Her exact dress is still available online and in stores for regular and plus size in red or black for $34.99. We've shown our love for this dress before (here) - the length, sleeves and print make it look high-end. If I'm being perfectly honest I think the dress sorta overwhelms Rachel's petite frame here, but she's done her best to accessorize with fringe heels and animal print belt.

Blake Lively was also in attendance looking radiant with her mom-to-be glow that's got every celebrity news site buzzing. Her dress is not from Target, unfortunately. Camila Alves shined in a white wide-leg jumpsuit while Jenna Dewan-Tatum looked flirty in a stripe off-the-shoulder dress. See more pics after the jump!

Cat & Jack includes sizes 4-18 and 2T-5T, and Baby Cat & Jack includes sizes 0-24M. Toddler sizes available August 7. See the full line on Target.com.

Deal Alert: Save $5 when you spend $25 on Cat & Jack clothing with promo code KIDS.

Off the Rack: New Who What Wear and More Random Goodness at Target

The Budget Babe gives a dressing room review of Who What Wear at Target.

Earlier in the week I went to my happy place aka Target determined to try on clothes with my two boys in tow. I timed it so they had both just napped, and it worked out pretty well. It would be cool if the dressing room floors were made out of that rubbery stuff at playgrounds, just a thought. Anywho...I headed straight for the Who What Wear display, which rolls out new pieces every month. The first thing that caught my eye was this bell sleeve blouse - it is so on point! My store had one on the mannequin but I couldn't find any on the racks. I'll be checking back for this one!

Off the Rack: Cat & Jack Kids Clothing Arrives at Target

Cat & Jack is the new kids clothing line at Target.
For those of you heading to Target this weekend, you might want to check out the new Cat & Jack kids' clothing collection, which launched in stores mid-July. My store had unveiled apparel and accessories for girls and boys; a store employee wearing a Cat & Jack apron told me that toddler sizes would be arriving August 7. He seemed well informed about the new brand, which is replacing Target's Circo and Cherokee brands, and is poised to be a huge new source of revenue for the second-largest discount retailer in the United States. I overheard a Target manager briefing a group of employees on the new merchandise, telling them they'd be watching sales closely every day, and that Cat & Jack would be "huge." I tried to lean in closer for details but my own kids were making too much noise for me to hear much else.

Spot the Real: Dolce Vita 'Gisele' Espadrille Wedges

Can you spot the real DV wedge sandals?
My shoe closet overfloweth, but that doesn't seem to stop me from buying more sandals! Thanks to this tip from alert reader Julianne G. of NYC, I might just have to add yet another espadrille to the mix. She noticed that the Dolce Vita 'Giselle' espadrille wedge, which sells for $72 (down from $120) at shopbop.com looks a lot like the DV 'Kolie' which sells for $24.74 elsewhere (and also comes in black). See if you can spot the real from the steal by clicking a link below!

P.S. Julianne also highly recommends the DV 'Kim' huarache wedge in tan or white, true to size, so comfy and cute with summer dresses!

Spot the Real: Marble Wall Clock

Can you spot the real marble wall clock?
While we probably don't use wall clocks to actually tell time these days, they still make lovely style statements in the home. I love the look of this classic yet modern marble wall clock which sells for $269.99 at domino.com. It's real marble but it's pricey. Luckily I found the look for less at Target with this faux marble wall clock that's just $14.99! It comes in black, too. The designer clock is 11.8 inches in diameter while the budget version is 10 inches. See if you can tell the difference by clicking a link below...
