Rodarte for Target is finally in stores and selling out fast online. Sadly, I haven't see it yet (I called two stores near my house and braved post-snowstorm roads only to find that the collections had not yet been put out), but I am dying to know what you all think! Whether you've seen it in person or just browsed the collection online—which includes illusion tulle dresses, sheer cardigans, bow belts and lacy bikinis, ranging in price from $9.99 to $79.99—share YOUR thoughts on Rodarte for Target in the comments. More pics after the jump…

There's also a caplet that looks to be made from the faux fur used inside snow boots - not very cute.
Not really impressed with the collection. I guess I'm lucky the one Target I happened to slide into only have a few items.
Maybe Target should take their cues from H&M and relearn how to launch their guest designer lines.

Sadly my Target did not have the belts or the lace cardis which i was really looking forward to.
I was SO excited for this collection - I mean come on, it's Rodarte! - but honestly, scrolling through the collection via this post, I felt every piece was just very... "old and done" in the immortal words of Nina Garcia. (Any Project Runway fans here?)
Still loving Rodarte, and Target, of course, just not so much this collection. Better luck next time.
The lace and tulle pieces are also quite lovely, and part of me is regretting not buying more stuff!
The only piece I'm really curious about is the boudoir-y wrap dress in the first photo, but alas, it's sold out online and I've had no luck finding it in a local store.
The best items from the collection were the lace cardis, the blue swiss dot dress, the ribcage dress, the flower print tee, and the leopard print jacket. Of all of those items, the only one practical for me was the leopard print jacket and that was a whopping $80. Cheap for Rodarte, expensive for Target. I'll wait for those bad boys to go on sale.
Everything else was cheap-looking or the sort of thing you can find anywhere (plain gray tee, striped navy tee).

Well, I went last Sunday to check on the collection in person, I loved it all, I didn't have a lot of time so I didn't try anything on, but I got a couple of dresses and a few tops.
I think that it's an affordable collection and it's stylish. It came out in the winter season and you can layer it with other clothes to stay warm, but the best part is it's just really fashionable! If you wan't to find boring classic pieces, Rodarte isn't where you're going to find them.
The materials could have been luxe and it still wouldnt have mattered.
Why so much tulle?
I dont see how these clothes could be worn IRL without looking crazy.
