I agree that the colorless stones look nicer, but for a trend why not save some money?

That's a good find! If you want one with colorless jewels, though, you might prefer this one from DownEast Basics. It looks almost identical to the one from Max & Chloe.

I saw the exact same as the first necklace for a lot less at emitations.com (can't remember exactly but somewhere between 20 and 40$). there where a lot of other colors too!
