Thanks for the tip! I love their website, but I've never ordered from there before. Have you? How was your experience with it? Did you get charged any customs fees?

Thanks!

Self-professed ASOS groupie here. I've been ordering from them for about 1.5 years now and I feel like half of my closet is from that site. I've only been hit with a customs charge once but I suspect that had something to do with placing a $200 order. It was well spent though - I got a genuine leather jacket, two dresses and a scarf.

I typically wait until something I like goes on sale to buy it (and believe me, just about everything does). The orders always arrive within a reasonable time and with express delivery, I've gotten some parcels within 4 days.

I think I love it so much because they have some pretty great, fashion forward pieces that would normally cost a fortune and other styles that I just can't find stateside. I've gotten pretty sick of running into other women sporting the same outfits I've picked out from H&M or Urban Outfitters but some of the things I've gotten from ASOS look rather unique and thus, by default, more expensive. If people only knew.

Thanks for that! I totally understand the frustration with shopping at popular stores like H&M & F21. I love those stores, but I don't want to be wearing the same outfit as the girl standing next to me on the subway, you know? Asos basically carries the same style of clothes (and is more affordable than Topshop!), and it's less accessible because it's online only. I will place an order asap. lol.

don't TEMPT ME!

To Tina (above) - I order from them every month or so. I only ONCE got customs fees and I've ordered from $30 worth to $200. It's worth it, for sure.

Another tip though is to have it delivered to your home address instead of a work address... the latter seems to bring about the fees... shrug
