5 Under $50: LilyBoutique.com

Here's a new online store you're sure to fall in love with: It's called Lily Boutique (www.lilyboutique.com) and they offer a select assortment of chic and affordable tops, dresses, outerwear and accessories. Best part is that the average selling price of items at Lily Boutique is just $28! New items are added weekly so check back often. I'm hoping they will start offering shoes, bottoms (like shorts and skirts) and more handbags. But for a fledgling boutique, I think they're off to a great start.

What's more, they've generously offered Budget Babe readers an exclusive discount! Get 15% off your order with coupon code BUDGETBABE15OFF at checkout, now through June 30, 2011. They ship internationally, too!

Keep reading for a round-up of 5 of my favorite items on the site under $50...if you visit the site, let me know what you think and what you think they could improve.

1. Beautiful Boho Feather Maxi Dress, $39
I love the print on this dress, it reminds me of something Nicole Richie would wear with a cool-girl headband and arm cuff.

2. City Streets At Night Grey Moto Jacket, $36
The perfect edgy piece for the not-so-edgy girl - I'd layer this over a ruffle tee and jeans or a floral summer dress for a Diane Kruger vibe.

3. Nautical Notion Zip-Front Top, $24
I love the variation on stripes going on in this top. You could pair it with shorts and sandals or black cigarette pants and heels.

4. Sail Away Stripe Top, $22
This top says Anthropologie to me. I picture it with cuffed red chinos and a floppy straw hat.

5. Butterfly Away With Me Top, $32
This pretty top has a sweet vintage feel. Make it modern with white jeans and platforms.

I couldn't find a size chart. They also don't list the length of dresses and skirts. I couldn't order from a place without this information!

it's in the "contact us" link

Love all of these picks, especially the jacket and the striped top! Also I love that they have flat rate shipping; I've found so many bargains that ceased to be bargains once shipping was factored in.

I just looked at the store and they have so many cute things. I'm going to place an order for the fuschia scarf and winged wonder butterfly dress.

Great site! I'm loving the affordable prices and cute clothes. Lily definitely has a new customer :-)

Another store that refuses to realize the average woman in the US is a size 14 and offers only a limited selection of size XL items. Needless to say, I will NOT be giving them ANY of my money.

I applaud them for not catering to the obesity epidemic.

I wish they had a size chart, and listed measurements - I can't order from someplace who doesn't! They have really cute clothes, though, there are several things I wish I could order! It's a shame.

I agree with the other ladies - cute clothing, but they need sizing information! Without knowing length, waist, etc. I would not order.

Hi ladies,

Thank you so much for the suggestions. We are working on getting a size chart on the Customer Care page and hope to have it for you tomorrow. In the meantime, feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to get you the measurements of any items you are interested in. We will also be listing new pants, dresses, and tops soon and look forward to carrying a wider range of sizes in the future. Thanks so much for being patient!

So much cute stuff it's hard to choose! Love the clothes and very reasonable prices. Made one order already, and there will definitely be more to come!

I wear a size medium everywhere, and i ordered an adorable dress from lily boutique and i think i'd have fit much better in an XL !
Realllllly cute, inexpensive stuff, but beware the sizes!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of their stuff! It is all sooo cute! I would love to win the shopping spree! I would get the tickled pink dress and it would be perfect for homecoming dance. Also super excited to here how small the brand runs because I am super petite and cannot find anything that fits! Will definitely be shopping here!

Is the lily boutique cheaper remakes of the actual clothing they have on the site?

i cant believe how annoying this company is!! i had such a horrible experience with a return that it completely turned me off, and i mean completely! i dont care how cute there clothes are im giving my business to www.modlcoth.com same dress's and way better customer service, i call this boutique 5 times!! and 2 emails no one ever answered or called me back, to make matters worse i got refunded to my Paypal account because they said i dint return it within 60 days and clearly i did, because i had a dead line for a wedding. i have emailed them once again about this matter (like they would actually respond) and still nothing back. do yourself a favor and if you do order anything from them and it doesn't fit, just keep it and try to give it to someone before pulling out your hair dealing with these people

I will never purchase from this store again. I have before and all have been smaller than advertised on the website. When I tried to return for a different size I received no communication and half refunded amount because they were out to stock. I sent them 6 emails to following up on the refund and received no response.
