Target x Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection: The Complete Lookbook

Here's the complete Target x Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection lookbook for your viewing pleasure. Featuring more than 50 unique gift items by 24 CFDA designers, the collection will be available December 1 at all Target and Neiman Marcus stores as well as online at Target.com and NeimanMarcus.com. Prices range from $7.99 to $499 (for the Alice + Olivia bike), with most items under $60. I featured some of my favorite items in the collage above, including fashions by Lela Rose and Tracy Reese, who both did a stellar job representing their brands and giving customers real bang for their buck (only $39.99 for a set of 4 Tracy Reese dessert plates, very reasonable! And they're fab!). Other designers could have been a bit more creative, like Marc Jacobs (love him, but a black scarf? boring), Carolina Herrera (pencils), and Judith Leiber (those $59.99 rhinestone compact mirrors look awfully cheap). Overall, it's a strong collab with something for everyone, including a $1 million donation from Target and Neiman Marcus to the CFDA. Bravo.

Which items are going on your holiday wish list? And do you think this collection will sell out Missoni-style?

I'm kind of meh about the collection, I mean the stuff if pretty but I'm not seeing myself wanting all these. Maybe Proenza and Marc Jacobs..

I'm actually kind of relieved that I don't have to have any of this, mostly because I don't want to be part of the insanity that will likely go down when this releases. On the flip side, I do hope the collection is successful if it's for a good cause.

Somewhere in the middle of the lookbook, I started laughing. It's a pretty big epic fail in my eyes, though I am relieved that none of this stuff will be tempting me. Okay, I like the Rodarte ornament and wrapping paper as well as the Proenza sweatshirt, but I can't help but find cookie cutters with a $30 price tag slightly humorous. Good luck to those who see things they want, though. :-)

Some of the images didn't load for me... maybe it's just my connection?

I like the bike but it's too expensive. I liked some of the clothing items too, but it really depends on the price.

Really like the Prabal Gurung cape (though I have 2 other black capes). Also, the Tory Burch stuff is cute. But Tracey Reese wins with her gorgeous top and dessert plates.

I love the sequined Tracey Reese top, and I like the Brian Atwood gloves, although I'll probably pass on those because I already own a similar pair.

I'm really disappointed that Marchesa only made children's clothes. I would've liked to see what they could do for women on a budget.

I am in lust after the LelaRose dress, but I'm betting it won't be available in plus sizes....

I love the Tory coffee mug and the Oscar lace tote as I felt it would be nice to carry around wedding supplies next spring. The Proenza sweatshirt would be nice as well, however, I will be out of town when this arrives in store and I am not certain how many of these items will arrive in the store where I will be located. Love some of it, but it isn't what I expected and the price tags are a little beyond my budget since I am a saving girl. I've got honeymoon on the brain. :-)
