Accessory Steal of the Week: Express Mixed Print Scarf

Express scarf

In this weekly column, I’m bringing you my favorite budget-friendly accessory that’s available online or in-stores. This week, it’s all about mixing prints.

Mixed prints is one trend that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. There are a lot of ways to combine patterns. One is by pairing different separates in one outfit. But it’s a whole lot easier when the prints are already mixed for you!

Express scarf

That’s why I fell in love with this Express scarf while shopping at my local mall this month. It takes the guessing game out of how to pair patterns by already featuring leopard and plaid together in one chic accessory.

A scarf is a super affordable way to make old outfits look new again. Drape it over your blazer to add a fun factor at the office. Or wrap it around your neck to make your weekend sweater and jeans combo instantly look on trend. The possibilities are endless!

While this exact scarf isn’t available online, there are other fun mixed print options. Houndstooth is very in this season, and looks great mixed with black and white leopard in this square scarf ($34.90). I also love the multi animal print ($34.90) in easy-to-wear neutrals.

Check out how I’m wearing my accessory steal in this week’s Staples Series on SydneStyle.com! ♦

I never would have thought to pair plaid and leopard print, but they look really fun together! Just more evidence that leopard really is a "neutral" now haha
