Create A Glitzy New Year’s DIY Glass in 2 Simple Steps

DIY Glitzy New Year's Chalkboard and Glitter Glasses

Make your style stand out on New Year’s Eve with these personal glitter Mason jar glasses! Forget the champagne flutes: The perfect accessory on December 31 as the clock nears midnight is a glitzy glass with a message! Toast the New Year with this DIY chalk and glitter glass for under $8.
You will need:
  • Glass Mason jar with a handle
  • Black chalk paint
  • Gold glitter
  • White glue

I found all of my supplies for under $8 at JoAnn Fabrics.

1. Paint glue over the desired amount to cover in glitter. Spill the glitter over the glue, and shake off the excess.

2. Paint the first coat of chalk paint on the remaining part of the glass. Wait 1 hour before applying a second coat.

3. Use chalk to write whatever message you wish to bring to the New Year’s event!
