Whenever I want to add a bit of edge to an outfit, I’ll swap my pumps for an ankle bootie. When you find one with embellished details they’re still dressy enough for a night out but add a downtown vibe.
Online shoe clubs are a great way to try out the trend without spending the big bucks. I fell in love with this Elizete pair from Shoedazzle. They’re under $50 but look more like $200! The trick to finding expensive looking shoes online is the hardware. These have a braided chain detail ,which elevates the look. Plus, the faux exotic leather hides any dirt or slush from the street!
You can wear them with jeans or leather pants. Or, lengthen your legs by pairing them with black opaque tights and your favorite dress or skirt.
