We Review affordable fashion site DailyLook.com's new spring offerings

Budget Babes, get your wallets ready whether you like it or not, because I’ve got another winning review for you, featuring items from DailyLook.com! I have ordered clothes and bags from this website before, so I was really excited to have the opportunity to try out some of their new spring inventory. Everything is moderately priced, great quality, and can accommodate a wide variety of personal styles, with everything from informal or polished dresses, flirty or casual tops, structured jackets, fashion sweaters, shoes, and more. I hope the items I’ve chosen will provide a good idea of what DailyLook offers and convince you to browse their selection—you won’t be disappointed!

DailyLook chambray shirt
Chambray Shirt, $40

This is now my favorite chambray shirt that I own. I ordered a size medium with the intention of a looser fit, and I’m glad that I did. Personally, I like my button-up shirts a bit oversized, but not so much that I’m drowning in the fabric. I’m sure many of you can relate to having some degree of difficulty finding one that fits just right in the arms, shoulder, and/or chest areas. I was relieved to not have any tightness! I’ve already worn this multiple times with skinny jeans, and I loved creating a mixed look by tucking it into a skater skirt with flats—cool and fem!

DailyLook chambray shirt
JOA Mosaic Print Skater Skirt $45

Speaking of skater skirts…I am crazy for this unique and crazy print! It reminds me of the menswear-inspired suits for women in geometric prints that we saw from Prada and other high fashion designers. I figured I could keep it basic here with a navy tank top and gladiator sandals, and I can easily dress it up with a blazer and pair of wedges. But you could certainly get more creative, say with a crop top or a contrasting texture or material. This skirt is meant to be high-waisted, so be sure to know your measurements accurately! I am wearing a size small here.

DailyLook Trapeze Dress
Split Sleeve Trapeze Dress $40

At first glance, I was fearful that all the flowiness and draping of the sleeves would not flatter my body whatsoever. The slit in the sleeves in this dress didn’t fit my usual taste and (there was a lot of self-doubt here, in case you hadn’t noticed…ha!), but I’ve learned my lesson—never judge before you try something on! I felt so whimsical and girlish in this delicate little number and cannot wait to wear it to weddings and family parties that I plan on attending this spring and summer. I will mention that the length is a bit on the shorter side, so be careful when going to sit or bend down!

DailyLook Venise Lace Drop Shoulder Top
Venise Lace Drop Shoulder Top, $30

This minty blue is so beautiful! Though the material was a bit stiff compared to the other lace shirts I own that are similar, I thought the fit was flattering—not too short and I even liked the longer sleeves that sort of flare out, giving it more structure rather than it just sagging on my body. Obviously lace is see-through…so I wore a bandeau underneath, and a lightweight tank would be another great option as well. I tried to keep the look springy by wearing it with pastel pink skinny jeans and patterned flats. Another suggestion: try it over a sleeveless bodycon dress or skirt with strappy heels for a night-out ensemble!

DailyLook Necklace
Striking Statement Necklace, $15

Talk about glam! Statement necklaces are huge right now, but I hadn’t found one I truly loved or wanted to shell out an unfavorable amount of money for until now. I have to say, this is probably the most adventurous piece of jewelry I’ve owned, and I’m thinking I need at least five more now! Pluses: it’s lightweight and won’t weigh your neck down, and you can wear it with any color. The length can also be adjusted along the chain to hang the cluster of crystals and rhinestones higher or lower. I’m thinking I will be “striking” up a lot of attention with this one!

So if you're looking for trendy spring fashions that won't break the bank - and that you won't see on everyone else - give DailyLook.com a try. And let us know what you think!
