When I was getting ready for New York Fashion Week I realized I need new boots. I wanted a pair that was dressy enough to go to the shows but still comfortable enough to be on my feet all day. Being that Spring is less than a month away, I figured a should buy ones that would carry me into the next season. Enter the taupe knee-high boot.
I actually ended up ordering a bunch of pairs online (thank goodness for free shipping and returns!). These Jessica Simpson shoes ended up being my favorite. For starters, they’re real leather under $100. They’re on sale for $75.99 to be exact. The beauty of a taupe color is they’re actually cool when they’re worn in. So you don’t have to worry about walking in the city.
While the heel is on the higher side, the rubber sole makes them much comfier. If you don’t have a narrow foot, I’d recommend ordering half a size up. The hardware also makes them look more expensive, a tip I like to use for many of my accessories.
At fashion week I paired my boots" title="my boots">my boots with whites and pastels. But back home I’ve already worn them with blue denim.
