Target Dollar Spot Valentine's Day 2019

This blogger shares Target dollar post finds!
I'm here with your friendly PSA that Valentine's Day has arrived in the Target dollar spot! Actually I think some stores put their Valentine's Day merchandise out right after the ball dropped on New Year's Eve...

Point being, don't wait until February to shop!

As always, these items sell out quickly so I'd grab what you like right away. No telling whether it will still be there on your next Target run.

Here are a few photos I snapped to help you plan your trip. The mugs and trinket dishes are especially tempting!

There are also lots of items for creating your own custom DIY Valentines, and cards and crafts for the kids.

I had no idea that you could score bull’s-eyes items online... Nice!

Hey Dianna - great finds at Target, also have questions for you, one about pilling on sweaters, you mentioned problem on one from Time and Tru, Walmart brand, I've had problem with sweaters from Nordstrom all way to J. Crew. Never have found perfect instrument (?) for removing pills. Also, what is your opinion on programs or memberships like Stitch Fix? I've heard good and bad...certainly makes matching clothing items easier if you are on the run in a.m. You, my dear, are however doing a fine job of matching for those of us who do not get to Walmart and Target on a weekly basis. I just wanted to add also that you mentioned a tornado touching down in your back yard. In December one struck a mile from me in Port Orchard,WA destroying homes and businesses. We were all gobsmacked (as Brits say) by the event. Hope you are enjoying your week-end, keep up the good work.

Hi Margot! I've had trouble with pilling on sweaters at all pricepoints as well. I have a sweater stone but it's hit or miss. My husband was wearing a merino wool sweater the other day with practically zero pilling on it, and he's had it for years, so I think that's a good fabric to look for. I also couldn't resist doing a quick google search and this article has some great tips on picking a sweater that won't pill - I'll be putting these tips to use myelf! https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-secrets-to-buying-sweaters-that-almost-never-pill-2017-10-09

Also thanks for the note regarding the tornado - and sorry to hear about the one near you. Seems to be part of a wider trend of unusual and disruptive weather for many people in many parts of the country. Meanwhile the kids just want snow! :-)

Thanks Dianna, I will search for the article, also try merino wool, sometimes though it is really itchy. Still would like your thoughts on Stitch Fix! Thanks!

Extra fine merino is soft! But I have very sensitive skin myself and I understand it can feel itchy. I have to layer a tee under just about every sweater I wear...

Ah yes Stitch Fix, it's been a while since I tried them out. I have friend who really enjoy the service, they work in more corporate/professionals environments. Trunk Club by Nordstrom is another popular one you might like. You might even use them a couple months to get ideas, or seasonally to establish your wardrobe.
